I have been servicing my cars at Marda Artamon for over 15 years - and called in today to make an appointment for the battery replacement, as roadside are not taking it as it is still intermittently working. The person who took the call (at 4.55pm today) was incredible rude and dismissive over the phone and basically told me to go to other car dealers to get the battery and that they don't have time for this. When I asked his name, he hang up on me. This is a very disappointing and frustrating experience - sounds like Mazda does not care all all for customers.

I've been coming here since I bought my car at the end of 2018. I use it for work, so kms go up fast, meaning I have to service every 3 months. The first couple of years were fine and I've been coming all the way from Newcastle for the last 2 years, which is really inconvenient. Service has generally been friendly, and I appreciate the care clean. They were very apologetic when they knocked out my fuel gauge, leading me to break down. They have me believing I need to keep coming there in order to keep warranty, but does it mean ppl who move interstate lose warranty? I should have checked properly. Most ppl don't put their cars over 100,000km in the warranty period, but what I would say is stop going to them after 100,000km bc it will just get more overpriced. I paid around 5 grand servicing last yr and was misquoted at least 2 of those times. I really couldn't afford what I paid, and they weren't very sympathetic to that.My last service they misquoted me by $400 which almost made me cry due to financial stress and then called me to see if I wanted to pay $120 for puncture repairs and another $120+ for wipers. I knew they were both overpriced, so I declined.Knowing my tyres had slow leaks that weren't urgent. Driving home, there was a whirring sound. Halfway, I had to make a stop, open my boot to find they had deflated a tyre and put my temporary on. It's not meant for doing 160km up a highway. Instead of telling me they let me drive home without knowing and leaving me to lose $120+ the next day bc I had to miss work and go find someone to fix my tyre for $40 (rather than $60 per puncture @mazda).I made 2 complaints and not even an apology. Hence, I wrote this review. May seem petty, but it really affected me further financially.I'll check with Newcastle Mazda regarding warranty or sacrifice my last yr of warranty rather than go back there.

I was notified by Mazda about a recall about my car’s low pressure fuel pump. I contacted Mazda Artarmon to make a booking. They informed me I would need to leave my car from 9-5pm at Mazda for the error to be rectified. During the phone call I told the staff member I would need to book a babysitter to confirm a time. I was able to do so and secure the appointment. I also booked doggy day care as my babysitter is allergic to dogs.On the day of the appointment I approached the front desk and was served by Luis. He asked me if I had a child seat in the car to which I answered yes. He immediately responded, “we can’t do it today then”. I was shocked. He cut me off few times when I started to explain I wasn’t told the car needed to have child seats removed. He said there is nothing he can do because the person who removes and put the car seat back left for the day and he is not available to do the job. Luis’ attitude remained rude and dismissive as I tried to explain it wasn’t fair, and that I had to organise a lot to be there for the appointment. After some negotiation Luis told me they would complete the repair, but I would need to put the child seat back in myself. I explained to Luis that I had to get a professional fitter and due to the timing of the appointment (23rd December), I wouldn’t be able to book someone till after Christmas/New year’s. I only have one car and wouldn’t be able to do anything (such as buy groceries etc) if my baby couldn’t travel with me.Luis continued to make rude remarks saying the job couldn’t be done and cut me off several times when I tried to speak. I started to tear up in frustration as I felt completely unheard. I asked to speak to a manager. Luis spoke with his manager and returned to me saying they would do the job. I started to explain “I don’t want to be rude, I just want to explain my circumstance, I have a baby-“ I was then cut off by Luis who said “I have children too, don’t make it personal”. I persisted on wanting to talk to the manager. Another staff member joined the conversation and started to reassure me she would make sure the job is done. Another customer approached as this was happening sharing how it was “hard to watch” Luis be so “rude” to me.They were then able to complete the job and fit the child seat all in 40 minutes.A very frustrating and upsetting experience. Poor customer service. Sharing my experience so other parents and customers know what to expect.

Great experience from start to finish. It was easy to book over the phone, the front staff on the day were friendly and efficient, the service itself was of a high standard and the car was ready for my scheduled pick up. I really appreciated how clean the car was compared to how I dropped it off.

This family-run business is a high quality, genie Mazda service and repair centre. Staff are extremely kind and helpful, and my car always comes back sparkling clean - inside and out. They don't try to unnecessarily upsell which is why we've been coming here for all our Mazda service needs!

It's a better place to service my car in compared to the previous Mazda service centre that I actually I bought my car from. I personally feel I got ripped off from the previous place that's I found out from my friend a mechanic that the oil was dirty which seem it was never changed, and they never even checked the transmission oil to consider to change it. So I feel it's a better place and better customer service
