IGA Surf Beach

TLDR: I successfully placed a click and collect order on igashop but on arrival my order had not been picked and was told that I needed to order more items.The long story: I arrived 45 minutes before the end of my pickup window to find the order had not been picked. The staff said they would pick the items immediately and confirmed my name and order number. After some confusing questions from the staff member I realised they were picking someone else's order. I clarified that the items he was asking me about weren't in my order. The confused staff member then told me they would need to pick this order before starting on my order. Some 15 minutes later (and after confirming my name and order number again), I was told that they had to cancel my order as I only ordered 21 items worth $90+ and there is a minimum 40 item threshold. At this point I had waited 25 minutes and needed some items to start dinner so I did a quick shop of bare minimum items instead of my $90+ spend.I later rang the igashop 1800 number and was told that the 40 item minimum was not the case and as the website took my order then it should have been fulfilled.I'm disappointed that supporting independent grocers is so painful and a waste of time!

Love my local, is cheaper than the other igas around for quite a few things too

Apsoulty apsoulty surpreme place love this little IGA were would the area of surf Beach be with out them..... They sell mostly everything but if you're after a larger IGA then batehaven IGA is a little but more dearer but more larger shop and place

Nice range of groceries. Slightly higher prices on some items but still affordable. Lovely that it's so close to the surf beach carpark and great for grabbing any extra supplies after being at the beach all dayNice staff and clean inside

Good range of groceries reasonably priced for a small store. A rude staff member today spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant shop, which I hope was just a bad mood moment and not a discriminatory thing.

Absolutely disgusted, will never shop there again, was turned away at 6.01pm, there were still people in the shop paying for their items, I asked if I could just buy some potatoes and was told no. So much for trying to support local business owners when they can’t show a small amount of flexibility.

Very expensive. Can only use for something forgotten or emergency supply.
