For the past 14 months my Red Cattle Dog Hank has battled with Glaucoma. It’s been aggressive with its progression even with treatment and caused him to go blind in both eyes. We’ve had trips to clinic. As well as frequent flyer visits at our local vet ranging from monthly, fortnightly and weekly check ups since his diagnosis. After a rough week at the end of July of him not being able to open his right eye, sky high eye pressures, extreme pain and some unpleasant side effects from medication increases to try get things back under control. On Thursday August 4th I made the 5hr trip to the clinic. After an emergency consult it was recommend that the best thing for him was to have both eyes removed that day.Within 24hrs after surgery he was back eating, walking around, tail wagging and a happy healthy boy again.Today we had a 1 week post op check up and he is healing nicely (lots of cuddles and tail wags for the team at the Sugarloaf Clinic). After just 1 week I have seen a massive improvement in him! He has just one more week of an e collar and then there’s no stopping him!I can not thank this amazing team enough!

Quality facilities and people. Ellie our greyhound needed ophthalmic treatment and the doctor, Negar, and her support team were just sensational. Subsquent check ups showed the treatment plan was very effective. Additionally we also found out a drug prescribed to Ellie for long term eye treatment was not the best option. Cannot speak highly enough of the team at Artarmon.

I have nothing but praise for the Eye Clinic For Animals! They have supported me through very stressful times with my dog's eye health, and every Ophthalmologist has been extremely knowledgeable, kind and gorgeous with my golden retriever! The support staff at reception and Vet Nurses have also been fabulous!

My puppy came to the Yagoona and Artarmon clinics and was diagnosed with entropion. Shortly after her diagnosis she had temporary tacking surgery to correct the problem, while this surgery unfortunately didn’t correct the problem, Dr Matt met with us to review her condition and recommended a permanent surgery to correct the problem. We felt confident with Dr Matt’s advice and he performed expert surgery on our puppy. During the recovery period we were in regular contact with the team to make sure we were managing her recovery and all staff were very helpful and accomodating with check ups. The team were lovely to deal with and our puppy is so much happier after having this surgery. We are very happy with the care received and would highly recommend.

Murphy our 4 yr old Cavoodle recently suffered accidental chemical burns to both eyes. We were seen as an emergency case initially at Artarmon with Dr Paul McCarthy and his wonderful crew and then at Yagoona with Dr Kelly Caruso and team. Both Dr's made us feel at ease with their explanation of the diagnosis and healing process. The whole team showed so much compassion towards not only Murphy but also his very worried Mum and Dad! We thank you so much for your help at such a frightening time. Linda and Mark Darracott

Thanks so much for giving Keith his site back,(cataracts from diabetes ). He went from walking into walls on the way in, to barking at other dogs on the footpath from the car on the way home. All vet staff, nurses and reception have been easy and pleasant to deal with. Would recommend to anyone with vision impaired animals
