I had reached out to Famous Rock Shop after coming across an item on their website that I had been searching for a long time now. I am not from Australia, but the online customer service I had from Gina was very pleasant, and they were able to get my order shipped out to Canada, It arrived within a week, no damage, and everything worked out perfectly. Would absolutely purchase from them again!

Shoes shoes and more shoes plus badges, piercing jewelery, anddddd skate, t-shirts and music vinyl albums galore upstairs. You name it they have it all! Not allowed to take pics upstairs so will leave it to your imagination!

Went in Saturday morning to buy a pair of Docs and the staff were super friendly and really helpful. Great experience. It is cramped, but they have a great range of products.

Very rude unhelpful staff, they expect you to know everything about the store and get aggressive when you don’t follow their rules. The merchandise is very limited and the body piercings look very unkept, if you’re going to sell body jewellery that goes into the skin proper hygiene needs to be followed. me and my mates were treated like thieves and the workers and owner is very rude

Family run business since 1990, taking over Macca's I'm told by Mario. Friendly service, well stocked. One change room. Bigger than you think with upstairs too. No discount despite spending $300 however there was an offer of free stickers which I politely declined. Reusable tote bag was offered for free with purchase.

Great shop of all things black. Lots of music and clothing and shoes. Highly recommend a visit

Best shop in Newcastle!Its a gen x wonderland.If you need hats, shoes, bags, jackets, vinyl, cds that are cooler than what your kids wear, this is the shop for you. Great staff too, thanks for your help finding everything I didn't know I needed.

I absolutely love the items they sell, yet the customer service was horrendous. I walked in with my own mother and they looked at me as if I was about to steal something. We got no welcomes, no help, and rude/dirty looks. Another time I was there, I was with my mates. My friend had come in with a Thrasher hoodie and they had seen us, yet accused him of stealing the thrasher from their store. They followed us around the store and watched us like hawks. I felt very very uncomfortable. The first time I went there, I was unaware that I had to keep my bag downstairs if I wanted to go up, and Mario the owner got extremely cranky and rude because of this even though I was polite and agreeing to their rules. If the staff were to be replaced I would definitely shop here more often.
