PPA MOVERS

Arrived 3 hours late, poor handling of furniture, damaged 2 piece recliner (Bent steel frame) and scratched/chipped bed frames. Upon arrival at new destination again 4 hours later then quoted and discussed. Do not recommend

Their movers were unprofessional, put holes in walls, broke items and put cardboard in to make them appear fine. They refused to move a TV and expected owner to provide tape. They charge by the hour so im not surprised they took their time and went so slow, taking twice as long as previous movers. As if this wasn't enough, they basically held hostage until a good review was put up. That review has been taken down, however, I felt a more accurate review was needed so prospective customers were aware of what they were actually signing on for.Edit to respond to reply:I have added photos of the damage created, supply evidence of damage.I am not Kirstyn, you can see that this is not a fake email as I have done previous reviews. Kirstyn is keeping her side of the deal in deleting her review for her refund (which is a pretty dodgy deal, well give you a partial refund for us doing a bad job if you delete the honest review of us).There weren't 4 sets of stairs, the move was to the 2nd floor and parking and stairs were mentioned before the job was taken on. Inventory of what was left: TV, backpack, bin, mattress protector and a large wooden chopping board. These were all item that were asked to be taken. Interesting that I didnt mention what had been broken yet you knew exactly what it was, looks guilty. No it wasn't already like that, the bookshelf was unstrudy, that was acknowledged but not the cat tower.If you have any issue

Booked with this mob for a move 18 days in advance.Unlike other movers, they charged me a deposit which I paid without much thought via bank depositI received an e-mail confirmation with the quote which included a callout fee of $45A week later I called to clarify the quote. While explaining the quote a guy called Ratan said that the callout fee is $100. I argued that the confirmation e-mail mentioned it as $45. He said that is a mistake and the new call-out fee is $100.I sensed a lack of professionalism and a chance of nasty surprises ahead. I asked them to cancel the booking and refund me the deposit. Ratan said the deposit cannot be refunded.Nowhere in their T&Cs was it mentioned that the deposit is non-refundable. In fact, no other movers charge you a deposit. And my cancellation request was 10 days before the move date.After multiple requests over email, they've refused to refund me for a service that was never provided.Stay away and take your business elsewhere!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.They rang us on the day to inform us they would be 2-3 hours late.After telling them we could only use the lift in the new apartment to move in until 4 they told us they would be there at 12.30 at the latest. After continually lying to us and informing us they would be arriving soon as they were just around the corner, we eventually had to give up at 2.30.I rang to complain and his only answer was he's doing us a favour" and "he can't control what time they would arrive".After reading several other reviews that haven't been fabricated

On the positive side, everything was moved, nothing broken. They seemed to take reasonable care.However, they were almost an hour late (for the first move of the day), with no phone call or apology. That's normally fine, but with a two hour move in/out window at most city apartment blocks, they should know to turn up on time. When I told them that we didn't have enough time, they insisted on proceeding, probably knowing they'd run way over, as was the case.They were unhappy to move certain items (such as a wide computer screen) which means I have to run a few car loads.Finally, one of the guys was very stern, unfriendly and impatient throughout.Overall though, the job got done, nothing broken, and fairly priced. I just wished they'd either arrived on time or called ahead so I could have squared it with building management. But reading the other reviews, it seems a common thing with these guys. Something to work on, I guess.

The boys were great! Even did an extra trip for us because we had purchased more furniture! What a great team to get the move done! On a saturday too! Would definitely recommend! -Sam

Mike and his team were great for our interstate move. They were professional and very flexible with our last minute date changes due to border restrictions. They were careful with our furniture and all at a really good price. Would highly recommend!

DO NOT hire these movers. They showed up an hour late from the quote, overcharged us from the quote and damaged multiple items of our furniture, including a piece of furniture worth more than the entire cost of the move. When we sought some kind of recompense for the damage, PPA told us that *we* caused the damage during the move despite the fact that we did NOT touch the damaged articles. They also told us that we signed a form" making any such damage okay - we were never asked to sign any forms at all. We were then told that he would talk to the drivers and get back to us. DONT USE this company, don’t be trapped with the fake positive feedback . They are terrible and the worst company I have ever seen. They don’t know how to disassemble the furniture or not taking the tv from the wall. They don’t have patience at all and angry from the moment they start working. They QUIT the job during the work and they tried to leave my stuff on the car park planning to run away until I came and warned them that I’ll report to the police for doing that terrible way. The had to put the stuff back to my home and they left. They mixed up our day and schedule for the lift. They are not on time too so any negative feedback you read are 100% true about the company. AVOID THEM.

Param and Jazz assisted moving into our new house. They were very efficient and friendly. Unfortunately they were running behind due to other removals going over time and we were not advised straight away of the delay. However we are happy with the service provided.
