Maintenance is obviously not a priority at this hotel". First room TV didn't work & aircon noisy & unable to adjust. Second room slightly better but would not recomnend a stay here. I'd like to include photos but no opportunity. Curtains falling down..."

Decent apartment-style hotel in a good location. Rooms are a good size, with a living room, kitchen, bathroom/laundry and bedroom. There's no restaurant, but it's a short walk to several rest in the CBD and across the river. There's a secure undercover car park.And two of the most important things for me: bed was decent, I'd say about average for hotels in this category. And the shower was excellent, had pressure, height and radius.

Great Value...Large spacious 1 bedroom apartment with private balcony...Very clean and tidy and fully self contained. Apartment includes private washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.Check in was quick and Hassel free.Staff very friendly.After booking for 2 nights decided to extend our stay as we were very impressed.Thank you

I arranged for a 1 bedroom apartment for 1 night. Upon check in I was given a 2 bedroom apartment, after departure I was charged for using the second bedroom and bathroom. When I rang about this they said I wasn’t meant to use the 2nd bedroom and bathroom, that there should have been signs up, the 2nd room should have been locked and I should have been advised of the charges if the 2nd room was used, I advised that none of this was said to me and the rooms were all unlocked. I was told they would ask the manager for a refund. When I rang back as I hadn’t heard from them I was told the refund was declined. The woman I spoke to Donna, said there wouldn’t even be the money in the account to refund me. I advised her again I was not told about any of this and she said again I would not be refunded. Will never be using Direct Hotels again.

My husband and I loved this place, it was so close to everything we needed and the apartment was lovely.

Both rooms ( stayed 2 nights but were moved as housekeeping hadn’t cleaned our booked room on arrival ) were run down, and filthy. Tiled floors appear clean however the soles of our feet told a different story. Carpets should be pulled up. Rooms in question are 89 and 45. Fly screens on outside door ripped, oven not operational ( ( out of order stuck to the door ) walls heavily marked. Steer clear of these. When reception notified response was deflected onto past guests as opposed to their management and upkeep ! Wow.

The location was great. Unfortunately the apartment was very unclean. The balcony was filthy with cigarette ash and floors looked as though had not been cleaned for months. Old Apple core in TV cabinets. Dirty child foot prints on windows ledges in bed room. Othe areas not clean. When reception told of issues comment was we use contract cleaner" I thought it was the responsibility of the managers to ensure all rooms were clean for incoming guests."

Nice and clean apartment. Kitchen. Good location within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. I was travelling with very heavy luggage and had to lift up a large flight of stairs just to reach reception. I couldn’t see any ramp access. Checked in after hours using key safe and person assisting on other end of phone was unable to assist with info about presence of ramp. This would be an impossible obstacle for a wheel chair user.

Beautiful modern, clean apartments overlooking the river. A short walk into the main part of town and a little further to The Strand. A full size fridge and modern appliances and furniture were appreciated. A great little coffee shop just downstairs was convenient also.
