Reece Plumbing

Recently renovated my bathroom and needed to go to Reece at Mornington for the builder several times. Being a layman I relied on notes from the builder which were pretty clear. Twice I was given the wrong items and had to return. Dealt with different staff who barely tolerated me and were super friendly when a tradie walked in. One guy in particular seemed more interested in his muscles than being helpful. None of them could raise a smile.

I have to say that while I quite enjoy home maintenance, plumbing is not my favourite. I had a flick mix tap that was leaking and the handle did not want to come off due to some calcification but eventually I got it and had time to run to Reece before it closed at noon on a Saturday. But I only had 20 minutes to spare. The cartridge did not have an exact match so there were two likely choice. The lady behind the counter charged me for the most likely solution, sent me home with two different cartridges and told me to return the one that I did not need. I returned the unopened cartridge a couple of days later. For someone to trust a stranger to take something and give it back was surprising and very appreciated. I reckon a customer service award would be appropriate for what she did. Well done to you.
