Samantha was incredible in coordinating our move from Sydney to the Gold Coast. It was rather complicated with a couple of drop off points required.Eddy and Matt were great and offered an efficient moving service that was careful and considerate.Hands down one of the best and most seamless moving experiences we’ve had.

It's taken me 8 months to leave this review because I needed time and space to put the wholly negative experience I had with Charm behind me. I booked Charm through Muval and from the get go, they were very slow to respond with communication. They were unable to give me a time frame they would arrive at our house on the day to help us move from Sydney to Brisbane saying only that they would let us know the night before. Then late the night before they were due to arrive, they called with an extremely unbelievable story about how they had to help their customer in Melbourne with a personal crisis and would be delayed the next day.We were moving out of our rental and couldn't believe what we were hearing. We had paid in full thousands of dollars for our service. The next day we waited anxiously to hear from them what was happening. Fraught with anxiety and stress, they kept fobbing us off with more and more outrageous stories. We were in such a predicament waiting in our house with fully packed furniture. Getting quite irate by the lack of communication and the delay, with no timeframe as to when our move would happen, I let my frustration show with the booking manager, Sam.When Joel arrived a day later, he let us know that he was unhappy that we were displaying signs of frustration.He walked through our house and told us that we had too much stuff and said that he could not take it. He then proceeded to sit in his truck outside our house for nearly an hour while I spoke on the phone to Muval. We could not cancel our booking without losing the money we had paid yet he refused to take our 35sqm of household goods we had booked and paid for. Saying that he calculated we had 50sqm.Eventually, he cancelled the order, swore at us and drove off.We were very lucky to find a replacement which cost us extra for the short notice, but we had professionalism with our next booking. The subsequent movers said we had 33sqm of household goods so I can only assume that Joel had other reasons for not taking our things. Regardless of what they were, his attitude and lack of professionalism, leaving a family stranded is something that I should have posted on this review earlier.You can see that they have very many good reviews. The experience we had gives me great doubt about those reviews. If he has treated us like this, he has treated others and I hope they will come forward and post them too. If there is a Code of Conduct for removalists, he is far far from it.I am posting this as a warning for anyone who considers them, beware, you book them at the risk that they will not turn up. And when you are moving house (and states in our case), you can't take this risk.

Had the best experience recently when I moved from Brisbane to Canberra. Matt and Eddy were fantastic. Great guys, turned up on time, super fast loading/unloading and treated my stuff with respect. They definitely made the move less stressful. I 100% recommend using Charm Removals!

The team at charm removals were amazing! From the word go and booking in with Samantha to the removalists, it was a great experience. They offered me the best price to move my stuff from Gold Coast to Melbourne. Samantha helped me figure out how much space I need to book. The mover guys were helpful and understanding throughout the process, even helped us pack a few things out of the way. They had packing blankets and covers in plenty and used them to wrap our stuff. One of the guys even showed up before time to make sure truck can enter our narrow street. They loaded all stuff in couple of hours and did the same in offloading. Got timely updates on their arrival and departure. I will recommend them to anyone moving due to their professionalism and good value. They were very friendly throughout and we never failed insecure about our stuff.

We chose to move our 2 bedroom apartment with Charm Removals and we were so pleased with their service. Eddy and Dean were on time, friendly, efficient and very strong. They made sure that all of our furniture was protected from any possible damage during the move, and they were very careful moving it into our new space. We booked their service at the last minute (on a Sunday!) and Samantha was very prompt, professional and friendly in getting back to me.
