Great place to chill, birds flying about, people kayaking, great scenery all around.Stop by and takes a selfie or take a landscape shot.Have a picnic or relax on the grass.

Lovely place overlooking the reservoir to have a quiet lunch and observe the bird life whilst visiting Cobar.

Great free overnight camp. Pretty. Lots of birdlife around reserve. You can walk the whole way around. Flushing loos. Could be improved by having covered bins to stop birds spreading rubbish and toilet roll dispensers that were a bit more theft proof.

Wow, 10:10 one of the best free camps/stops in Australia. Does not get much better than this beautiful stop. Seriously, this stop is like in an enchanted island - in of all places - Cobar - amazing. Thank You Cobar. Highly Recommended

Nice place to sit and chill. They have electric barbecue. Part of the dirt road surrounding the lake is closed and part of the lake has too much algae and requires cleaning.
