Outstanding! TOP service! TOP food! Best roof TOP experience! Phil& Robyn and their staff gave us outstanding customer service and made us feel welcomed and like family. Food was hot; flavours were delicious and serving size was brilliant value. We will return! Place to be in Toowoomba!

We had my husbands 60th birthday with another 2 functions on the same night.Phil and his staff special mention to Hannah they were absolutely fantastic the food platters were amazing couldn’t keep it up to the crowd had to order more and no complaint from the chef to do so. Arancini balls a must.Phil mingled with our crowd and everyone thought that it was just awesome. Music was just spot on an absolute perfect spot for any occasion with the roof open on a perfect afternoon. Phil you do an amazing job we will recommend to anyone looking for a perfect space..well done

First time dining here for my birthday celebration. Exceptional food @ Fair Price. Drinks menu had a great variety. Beautiful ambiance and tasteful decor. Stand out was the service - could not fault it- our server was friendly engaging and professional.. highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Great reasonably sized rooftop bar with ample seating, air-flow, high quality food and down to earth staff.FOOD: A few vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Ordered all three grazing boards (unusual to get such a broad selection) and was impressed by the high quality meats served on them.CUSTOMER SERVICE: My meal was either forgotten about or understaffing led to me needing to go up and remind them, as it didn't arrive. All in all, it was a 110% experience... We all get busy, I have no issue with the odd mistake. Their response was above and beyond lovely, coming up to check on how happy I was with the meal twice after I did receive it. Thank you. It made the difference.STAFF: The bar staff were great.Overall would recommend, I think how one fixes up a mistake is often the sign of a good restaurant. A friend ordered vegan gnocchi and it was not vegan, again, they promptly made her another.AMBIENCE: Modern, fresh, a little tropical with old style class.Would recommend and go back again.

Our 25th anniversary dinner last night. We chose George Banks, as we’d been there many times previously. Hannah, our event coordinator? BRILLIANT!!! Lovely young lady.Unfortunately, our meals? Not so great this time. “Quite ordinary” at best. My oven roasted chicken breast? Which I had recommended to our guests? Just “NO”My husband and another guest ordered steaks with “toppers”… pretty easy, you’d think? But their toppers came out in a bowl, approximately 10 minutes before the steaks were served….. Another? Had a seafood risotto… inedible. The grazing platters? Sort of ok? But our son informed us that the spring rolls were cold in the middle.The atmosphere? Still beautiful though….

This rooftop bistro has so much potential, but on the night we went, we were disappointed.The umbrella chandelier was cute, and there some small Poppins photos on the wall so we got the idea where the name came from, but it was subtle. I was expecting a rooftop bar vibe, but it felt more like a regular restaurant.We started with cocktails (Negroni and French Martini), which were conventional and good, and haloumi chips which were nothing to shout about.The main course was the biggest disappointment. I was looking forward to some amazing local steak cooked to perfection. Requested rare, got med-rare to medium, and the presentation was like it had been thrown onto the plate. It looked nothing like the food pictures I'd seen on the internet attributed to this venue. My dining partner chose the lamb rack, which was over cooked - not a sign of any pink in there you would expect. The wine was a fairly low level quality from the Oatley stables, had a fault (some fizziness). I spoke quietly to a man at the bar, who replaced it, but the next bottle was the same, so we didn't get another. They offered us another round of cocktails as an apology, including their special new coconut chilli margarita, and insisted we have their lava cake desert - you'll love it" I was told. I didn't like the margarita (maybe the chilli margs at Cru bar have spoiled me) but my partner graciously swapped with me. The lava cake was not special at all.There seemed to be some kind of strange dynamic of staff going on
