• Owners run the pub• Food and drinks are delicious• Pricing is great• Extremely clean toilets/bathroom• Quirky, fun, atmosphere• Friendly pub dogsMy Dad and I have been passing the Mucka pub as it was under construction while on work trips to Barcaldine. This trip, we decided to pull in on the way home. It was the best decision ever.It was pretty quiet in the pub and the pub dogs warmly welcomed us along with the owners who are a husband and wife. They are absolutely lovely, down-to-earth and love their customers. We enjoyed our evening there having some beers, dinner and getting to learn about the Mucka Pub history. The food is really really delicious, and the beers are refreshing. Bathrooms are spotless, clean, smell fresh and look really awesome too.Can't wait to visit the Mucka pub again. It was an awesome experience! Make sure to swing by when you're passing!

Well what can I say, what an awesome pub. We were to stay here in our caravan for 3 nights and it ended up being 7 nights. They say the pub is a yabbie trap, once you get in you never leave. The owners and staff are awesome. Please call in and have a beer, or lunch, or dinner.

Absolutely top-rate country hospitality from the Mucka. The food is fantastic, campsites are well thought out and everything is sparkling clean. Must-stop location.

Great country pub. It was a green oasis, with perfect lawns surrounding the rustic architecture. Friendly staff and insta worthy meals served quicker than expected. Reasonable value meals but drinks were a little expensive. ($22 for a can of JD and a cider) The choice of indoor or outdoor dining seating was awesome and added to our experience. There is a pool and great value caravan and accommodation on site.

Awesome new pub very welcoming. Pulled up in our van opposite and made a donation to flying dr. Excellent meal lamb loin chops with fresh veggies fantastic and cooked as requested. Husband's steak sandwich also excellent and good value for money.
