I went looking for an action base stand for my RG Sazabi model, but they didn't have one in stock. But the staff showed me a different one and walked me through how I could modify it to make it fit.I brought it home, tried it out and it worked perfectly.Very helpful and passionate people, will definitely be visiting again!

Large shop located in Box Hill. Wide range of hobbies catered for. Well worth a browse. Radio controlled cars and planes, slot cars, model kits, die-cast models etc.

Despite being not as big as hobbies direct, the staff their were happy to help me out of what I was buying. A slash 4 years ago with old batteries still runs the same. Body and paint with some not so many parts. However overall a very good hobby store to check out if you are interested.

First time visit today. Not many Star Trek models but did have Star Trek Voyager. Easy to spend a lot of time there.

Amazing shop in Melbourne and most staff are nice!Have received a model with no content in the box, the seller resolved the issue and placed a refund. I recommend always check the model kit for broken/ missing parts(if it’s not factory sealed) before check out or dispatch!

Well lit, well stocked and easy to navigate store layout. Very much a hobbiest wonderland, even as an extreavert, there was so much to look at all the time, you want to walk out with the entire shop. Friendly staff who greeted you as you enter, who have extremely good customer service as they are knowledgable and highly helpful. Well priced and reasonable range. A key question in the sales process was who is this for?". They weren't prepared to hear that the model kit was for me (a woman) - there was no follow up suggestions after that. Would have been good to try upsell the or at least ask if I needed to get the paints as they were not included in this particular package."

Great Online Shop. Ordered 2 Model Ships, Paints & Accessories last week and they were already delivered today.Great customer service, large range of models and quick delivery.I have been into the Box Hill store numerous times as well and the service I have received there has always been spot on.

Been a very loyal metro hobbie customer for a longtime and spent thousands but I’ve had it with them they don’t have a loyalty program like other hobbie stores and you would think they would give some discount not even a $1 off the price I’m .not going to support them anymore I’m shifting my business elsewhere do yourself a favour spend your money elsewhere where loyalty counts
