Prouds the Jewellers Maroochydore

Bought a Seiko watch 9 months ago from Noosa and the pins in the watch band kept coming out of the metal watch band and I would have to constantly push them back in so I went into the Maroochydore store and was told that the watch band was not under warranty and for me to have the pins replaced I would have to leave it with the watchmaker to give me a quote. I ask can I just have one new PIN and I will put it in myself and am happy to pay for it and girl said no. So I took it around the corner to Mister Minit and he replaced the pin for me for free and gave me a couple of spare pins when I didn't even buy the watch there and that's what I call service.On this occasion Prouds failed the service test.I wasnt asking for much.There was no effort to acknowledge my issie was am easy fix and low cost and in the old days it would have been rectified.

I had a really unpleasant experience here today (11am 7/5/2021). I was in very basic/standard gym clothes, but as I was explaining to a middle-aged sales assistant what I was after, she kept looking me up and down the entire time, then she said, 'you should look at huggies, they're earrings that don't dig in and you can sleep in them. They're out the front on display, go have a look'Well, I did go out the front and have a look, but there was no such display that I could see (although it was obvious I hardly knew what I was meant to be looking for in the first place).Who does that? Just says 'go out the front and have a look' and offer no further effort? This would be understandable of she'd been in the middle of serving someone else but there was noone else in the store.Sale lost and we'll never go to Prouds again.

Previously had a very disturbed employee working, who was very rude and scary. Her name was Maddie Muller I believe, Haven't seen her there in a while but hopes are they got rid of her. Will not be going in if she is.

Stood in the store for about 5 minutes. 3 workers not one approached walked out to shop elsewhere

Walked in with the full intention of purchasing jewellery. I saw a few things I liked in the window. Got ignored by all 4 staff members in the empty store. I even walked around the whole store, in front of each staff member, still ignored. It’s so rude and there’s no excuse for such poor customer service. Get new staff if you’re going to pay 4 at once, they’re losing you money.

Took an expensive Seiko watch back to have a link in the band reattached when it came apart, (some links were removed by the store at purchase time). The watch is barely 6 months old and is under warranty. Store staff advised the watch would have to be sent away - they couldn't reattach the link (even though they removed some links at time of purchase). Staff suggested I try Mr Minit (who did fix it in moments, at my cost).One can only presume that this is how Prouds avoids honouring their warranty. Just tell 'em we have to send it away" and suggest to try somewhere else.Well I have taken their suggestion and I will certainly go somewhere else. For good. Will never bother shopping at Prouds again.I suggest you don't either."

Price check before you buy, my own fault but saw the same kids watch in the complex for $110 cheaper 10 mins after i purchased. Tried to return it but unsuccessful. They spruke on their website how they have superior buying power and able to offer the best price. Pretty disappointed.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a beautiful chain for my pendant from the lovely Amy yesterday. Amy was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the different considerations of selecting the chain, and really took her time to help me. She is also such a warm, genuine person who even helped me watch my escape-artist one-year-old so I had a moment to try on necklaces. Thank-you Amy and I look forward to visiting Prouds Maroochydore again!

bought a 9 carrot gold bracelet from prouds in maroochydore. the bracelet got sent away for resizing and came back looking completely different. when confronted, the staff were super unfriendly and unhelpful. after almost 2 months of them having the bracelet and trying to resolve the issue, they refused a refund or replacement. so i walked away with an item that cost me $1,300 and i didn’t even get what i paid for. my last interaction with the team at the maroochydore store left me feeling very uncomfortable. the staff mocked me and was talking about me to their coworkers while i was standing there trying to resolve the issue. very unprofessional and rude. i don’t think anyone deserves the service i received at this store for weeks on end. very upsetting to say the least. not even worth the 1 star.
