Five Point Four (5.4)

Was very excited and looking forward to my vegan meals. Registering was easy and delivery was fast. However I was greatly disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Unfortunately all 8 varieties were not edible. Customer service were very friendly and we're happy to cancel. A friend is on the meat program and loves his meals; though the vegan meals most definitely need improvement

I've been on 5.4 for about 3 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! I was worried at first that the meals would be bland (as most weight loss meals are), but they're actually delicious! I'm never still hungry after a meal, even though they're portion controlled. Their customer service is on point too - 100% would recommend :D

Great customer service but very average food. I had ordered food from 5.4 for about 8 weeks and enjoyed the convenience of pre-prepared meals, but found that the meals were rather bland with very little flavour, the containers had a flimsy film that would lift or break very easily, food was always iced over and would become watery when re-heated and the meat used was almost inedible at times. I have since changed to another meal delivery service which is cheaper, shrink wraps their food to prevent it icing over, has tastier meals (still macro measured) and a very flexible delivery schedule.

This year I luckily discovered 5.4 prepped meals, which are the first frozen meals I have tried. I've never been into frozen meals, paricularly because it's almost impossible to find frozen meals that are vegan! But 5.4 is tasty, only takes minutes, has great macros, and the delivery is fantastic. Great for when you're not sure what to cook but don't want fast food. There's so many options to try, would recommend to anyone wanting to try frozen meals :)

This really works ! The meals are great. Love that they are delivered right to your door. Saves me so much time shopping and cooking (I used to eat pretty unhealthy). These meals are completely balanced and nutritious. In just a few weeks I've lost about 4kg and a few percent body fat. Plus I am not hungry in between meals. Seriously, I can't recommend this highly enough.

Omg!!! Just had my first satay chicken meals!! Soooooo good!! My new fave. I even ate it 3 meals in a row because I am addicted! #healthy#delicious#love my fivepointfour!! ❤ I also think their tomato bush beef is amazing flavour wise. Pesto chicken with peas was another great meal.The meals are convenient and very filling. I'm never hungry which is a bonus. They are full of vegetables as they should be, with the added flavour of sauces. It is healthy food....not full of buttery fat laden sauces so will taste different. I have had gradual weight loss and am very happy. I find I'm not craving carbs at all now. Customer service is excellent as I needed assistance in the beginning. I am thoroughly pleased with the meals and I feel so much healthier. Congrats to a small Aussie company for a great job!!

I ate the meals for a month. It did help me lose 4kg which of course is fantastic and I'm grateful for it.But the actual food itself is bland and unappetising. Pretty 90s menu too. I'm not sure why people here say they are delicious. They are very watery once heated and I need to drain them out.I also wonder why there are so few veges in some of them - if a meal is only 230 cal then why not add a few more veges to satisfy people and add nutrition? One of them was just watery mince with three cauliflower florets in it.In short, maybe it's just that weight loss isn't easy and I expect it to be not such a tough slog, but after two weeks I dreaded opening the freezer for another bland meal, and after a month I couldn't take it any more.If you could give customers more choice about what they receive I think that would go a long way. I found that 5 choices to be eaten over and over again in two weeks was just not enough variety to keep me interested...

The idea is great but the food is not. I received a two week subscription - the beef chow mien was pretty yummy but all the chicken meals were bland and the meat was tough and chewy. It tasted like old meals, not like it was cooked fresh recently. I complained but they did not seem to take my complaint about food taste seriously so I have now cancelled my subscription.I would suggest it's not worth using this service. Food should be delicious and 5.4 is absolutely not.

So far not impressed by the quality of meals. The Satay Chicken was incredibly sweet and salty. 3 hours since eating and still really thirsty because of the high salt content. The Stir Fry Broccoli and Chicken looks like chicken with a bit of sauce thrown on it and is not appealing at all. I think the company saying they are restaurant quality meals are so wrong. My meals are much more flavoursome than these and I don't need to add artificial flavours to make them taste really yummy. The concept is great but needs a lot more work to convince us that these are good value for money.

I love these guys. I'm very conscious of calories and nutrients as I am a bodybuilder. I take 2 meals with me everyday to work. Saves me the trouble of looking for nutritious food from the horrendous take away choices out there.The food is great. Considering that it is designed with nutrition in mind I am more than happy. I certainly could not cook that kind of variety with the macronutrient control that these guys offer.The service is fantastic. I have never had any issues with freezing my account and am always greeted and treated with positivity and politeness. I'll be a customer with them as long as I'm looking after my health.Thanks to the 5.4 team.'Eat right, get huge'
