Ballyvista & Dalfruin Bed & Breakfast

WOW We booked the garden apartment and loved loved loved it. So cosy and everything you need at your fingertips. The hosts are generous and friendly and keep the room stocked up.

Andrea and Keith were lovely. We only stayed here for one night in the Bally Vista room. Andrea provided tons of information and details about the area... Recommending plenty of things to do and see. The apartment was clean, private, and nice. Great for relaxing after a long drive from the Prom. The claw tub was really nice and they included some bath salts for relaxing. The bed was comfy and the linens comfortable. The room has air-conditioning which was nice and plenty of seating to relax and watch TV. The wifi was weak in our room and we had to park street side, however they said they had cctv watching the area. The breakfast included was ample.. With a great local Gippsland yogurt, croissants, tons of jams, juices, plenty of cereal and milk and and array of teas and coffee. We could hear a little bit of noise from trucks and cars racing by but that tapered off past 10 or we failed to notice it after falling asleep. Checkout was swift and we had a lovely chat before leaving. A great place and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

If you're heading to Bairnsdale you'd be well advised to stay here.The accommodation was very comfortable & quiet ; breakfast well provisioned and hosted by friendly and helpful couple.I'll recommend it to friends and would stay there again.

This is an outstanding B & B we found on our wonderful driving adventure from Sydney to Melbourne. Eclectic, cozy decor, fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for our overnight stay, including all the fixings' for a lovely breakfast in the morning. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed and thoughtful, friendly hosts. We booked on an iPhone and arrived 15 minutes later. The owners greeted us warmly, directed us to several lovely restaurants for dinner and suggested we go immediately so we wouldn't miss the early closing times. They also told us about the secret of Raymond Island and the free ferry to take us there to see Koalas in their native habitat, one of the highlights of our journey we would have missed otherwise. I highly recommend this B & B!

Nice house when you arrive then they show you to a converted garage. I would rather sleep in my car. Hope my review is worth the $15 you stole from me. Very rude old lady hosting.

Had a lovely last minute stay in the garden apartment bnb that has everything you need and styled in a beautiful French theme.A lovely place to stay in a town that deserves more than the one night we could only stay for.

This place is a gem and the owners are a lovely couple. Accommodated us at last minute. Our room was beautiful and quirky. Nice breakfast of cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, croissants etc provided. Price was very reasonable. Couldn’t recommend more.

Very comfortable bed. In fact the whole experience was a pleasure.

If you can indulge yourself with a room here is highly recommended to do so. It's a very lovely place full of tiny posh details. They provide you with tons of information about the area which is very convenient for tourists.
