Authentic and delicious Italian food!They use genuine ingredients, I love their focaccia and pasta!Lovely venue with amazing vibes.The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommend the chef selection! 6 dishes that include a dessert and staff ask for any dietary requirements to cater the menu accordingly.All our dishes were delicious, the chef is incredible. Staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and the chef even popped out to say hello! Definitely worth booking and sitting outside in the cute little alfresco area :) will be back to try more!

In my experience as an Italian by birth, La Lanterna is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been in Brisbane but also compared to Italian restaurants in Sydney as I’ve lived there for many years. The waiting staff is friendly and polite, the owners are welcoming and look after customers in ways that I didn’t experience anywhere else. The food is amazing, healthy and fresh. I go there every week and it feels like I’m home every time, a little drive to get the same I would get with 24+ hours plane. Highly recommended, La Lanterna forever.

Quaint little restaurant with very authentic atmosphere. We really enjoyed the small antipasto platter to share as an entree. For mains I enjoyed the Gnocci which was beautiful and soft however I found the cheese flavour a little strong. My partner enjoyed the seafood linguine. The flavours were excellent, the seafood was beautiful and the only detractor was that the shrimp were not peeled. As for drinks it is again very authentic with a range of Italian wine, beer and soft drinks, no spirits. Overall a terrific experience and definitely recommended.

We are regulars at La Lanterna and each time we visit it does not disappoint! Amazing service and food always. It has a great atmosphere because it's a smaller venue so definitely book ahead. It's well worth it!

Lovely little Authentic Italian restaurant. Staff are lovely and accommodating to dietry restrictions. Gnocchi is the softess and best we have ever had at any Italian restaurant. Top class food, Affogato is beautiful and the brownie is to die for

I had dinner at La Lanterna with my partner a few nights ago and we both could not have been happier! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the owners were charming, funny and always making sure we were happy with everything. Overall it was an amazing dinner experience that I will recommend to all my friends! A must try if you love Italian food and good company :)

This Italian gem is a special little place. The owners are so engaging and their staff are well trained and friendly. I don't know if the things we ordered were even on the menu, the owners prompted us to try their recommendations and they were amazing. Also made us some lemoncello cocktails concoction that was just wonderful.

So many options for Italian food on the peninsula, but La Lanterna is the most authentic. Tiny dining room, but the atmosphere is fantastic, and the crew are amazing.
