I had my hair done by Ella, she worked so hard to find a colour that would suit me. I went with a blueish grey and I love it! It has lasted so long, I highly recommend.

Emma from Blanc did my hair for my hens and my wedding. One of the other stylists from Blanc also did two of my friends hair for both their hens and weddings also.I cannot recommend Emma and the team more highly! They are absolute artists and do such an amazing job at mastering the look that you are after for your big day! I was so happy with my hair. It was exactly what i imagined and more!Emma did more than one trial for my hair/ tried more than one style for me and adapted/ changed the date several times because of covid with no issues.Not only that but they are professional and fit in extremely well with any group, laughing along and having a great time with the bridal party!You are crazy not to choose the Blanc team for your wedding or event styling!

Wasn’t overly impressed with the service I received on my visit. As a new customer i would have thought the stylists in this salon would want to engage in conversation more, offer drinks, products etc.i felt i got a very cold welcoming and as if i was an inconvenience.The original quote she gave me at the start of the appointment was also different to the final price.The colouring was great but just wasn't happy with the overall experience. Wont be returning

Highly recommend for stunning wedding hair in Newcastle and the Hunter Region. Brie is exceptional at what she does and made sure I was happy with my trial and made me feel assured that I would have exactly what i wanted on the day. She was a calming presence to get ready with and did such a lovely job on myself, my mum and all of the bridesmaids.

After moving to Newcastle 18 months ago, I have really struggled to find a hairdresser. I came across Blanc Hair Studio when looking for a bridal hair stylist and booked in for a haircut to see if they would be the right fit for me and my bridal party. From start to finish, the whole Blanc Hair Studio team showed incredible professionalism, warmth and knowledge. So happy to have finally found a new home for my hair!

Asked for a razer cut for thick curly hair but though 2 stylists apparently do this, my stylist didn't. Though I said I didn't want TOO much off and wanted a thin out she began at the back and I ended up with a pudding bowl cut that was super thick and certainly not flattering. I only realised how bad the cut was when home and my hair finally dried. I had to go to another hairdresser who found strange long bits and was surprised that a qualified stylist could do such a poor job.Please don't advertise your expertise in curly hair otherwise those with thick curly hair may be equally disappointed.

I attended the salon and asked to have my hair thinned using thinning scissors as I have extremely thick hair. All was going well and I felt confident in the hairdressers ability. Unfortunately, towards the end of the experience she accidentally picked up the normal scissors instead of the thinning scissors. I had a feeling at the time that she’d made a mistake but as I couldn’t really see, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Upon returning home, I discovered she had cut a HUGE chunk out of the back of my hair. I returned to the salon where the hairdresser persisted with her story that she was completely unaware of her mistake. Her manager stepped in and offered a refund and free products. I was promised a phonecall from the owner but never received it. Photos attached! Decide for yourself whether this is acceptable from a trained hairdresser. Left there in tears and feeling totally defeated.The worst part was her inability to own up to her mistakes! Understandably, mistakes sometimes happen but the way it was handled after was completely unacceptable. Even my 5 year old son could see the mistake

I felt very awkward and judged there. I showed a photo of what I wanted and my hair to look like and it looked nothing like what I asked. I felt it was yellow and like a toner had been put on the ends and that was it, it looked not very different to when I walked in so I walked out feeling pretty dull. I personally won’t be going back and would avoid if you’re after blonde hair.
