Godfreys Beach Penguin Viewing Platform
Awesome experience, Ranger John gave us bit of information about them.There are red lights on the platforms and we saw cute little penguins up close with help of John's red torch. They returned just after dark around 2130 on 21st Dec. Will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Such a beautiful little hidden gem. I wasn't there at the right time for the penguins but it's beautiful to see anyway. Great view of the beach from there.

Godfreys Beach Penguin Viewing Platform
We came in December and went twice. The correct time to arrive is about 9:20 so you can see the penguins in action. Penguins come up around 9:30-10:00pm and don’t forget your red light torches. The penguins were adorable

Be prepared to get cold but totally worth it when they turn up, 8.30ish in late March. You will see more if you have your own red light.

Godfreys Beach Penguin Viewing Platform
It's a great place to watch penguins at night, and it's totally free. I was lucky to see so many cute penguins going back to their nest. It's windy and freezing at night, please dokeep warm. NO Camera Flash Allowed.

Godfreys Beach Penguin Viewing Platform
Visited in mid September and were incredibly happy to see so many penguins coming in at night. Such a special experience and you can enjoy it all for free. Beach is also gorgeous to walk along during the day.

A nice walk after a good meal a little walk to viewing platform, we waited and we waited and we waited some more! we said we’d stay till 830pm after being there since 7. As we were leaving we could start to hear the young chicks starting to call out then the procession of adults coming from the water was great to sea and hear with a red light torchThe viewing platform is just behind the cemetery and while leaving we could still hear the chicks calling out from the cemetery it was really eerie

Godfreys Beach Penguin Viewing Platform
A good setup with elevated platform and red lights that come on at sunset. We were there on Sep 29 and the first penguins arrived at 7.20 pm which was about 1 hour after sunset. Saw about 20-30 penguins come up before we had to leave because of the weather.
