From the very beginning of my journey in finding a builder I was greeted with friendly service, professionalism and exceptional guidance. The sales representative at Hotondo, Wallan went above and beyond for me and all of my questions and needs were answered. I wanted to make a few changes to my floor plans and facade whilst still staying within budget and the team made that happen. I couldn't be happier with the final plans and still staying under budget.Being a first home buyer and first time building it was all very new to me, but the staff were fantastic in helping me in every way they could and making sure they helped me to understand every step in the process. They made the experience exciting and enjoyable. If I ever felt overwhelmed or confused the team help to reassure me and communicated with me the whole time. I ran into some issues during Covid to get my finance on time, but that was no issue for the team at Hotondo, Wallan. They put my best interest at heart and did everything they could for me to get my plans underway and were more than happy to wait until I was ready. Now my build is almost ready to begin and the process has been fantastic. Very excited to watch the house take shape.I couldn't recommend Hotondo enough.

The team at Hotondo Wallan built us our dream home, making the entire process from the planning and selections, the construction and the handover of our new property a professional, friendly and seamless experience. ****PRE BUILD REVIEW *** - Scroll down for Post Build...We have chosen Hotondo to build with and we are about to commence, so far we have had great interactions with everyone, Melissa who we first met was terrific, nothing was too hard, she helped us tweak a few designs and we loved the flexible approach to customizing the layout as our farm is a large area so not your normal home block size. The next stage was then costing and Keegan has also been incredibly patient, it has taken us 18 months to get approvals from council which has given us a lot of thinking time which has meant changes to our plans. I'm not sure I could have exercised the patience he has with us, we are grateful Keegan!We will keep reviewing as we go along but so far so good!************POST BUILD REVIEW*********Hotondo Wallan have been incredible to deal with!! We cannot fault them.My profession is a mortgage broker and I have many clients who have built and had so many issues and problems with the quality of their homes.I was very selective when choosing our builder as a result and also arranged independent building inspections along the way to ensure everything was done to specification and the correct standards. The building inspector commented several times that the quality compared to other builders was obvious in terms of the level of quality.Any build is going to have some issues, this is the nature of building but to me it is about how those issues are resolved. Though we only have one small issue, the team had it sorted and our minds at ease before we even had a chance to worry about it. They have been approachable and easy to work through anything with and I feel very reasonable.They were incredibly flexible with some changes we wanted to make along the way, nothing was too much trouble and they are all generally nice people.From Melissa in the office, to Keegan with costing, Matt with purchasing, Kalen with project management, Wayne overseeing everything, Lynne with the invoicing just all an absolute pleasure to deal with. The tradespeople were also great to deal with, some of whom we will miss seeing onsite!Hotondo were not the cheapest out there but I believe you get what you pay for, we were looking for a a quality build and that is exactly what we got at a very reasonable price. Sadly I do also have expensive taste!We cannot thank you enough for building our dream home, it looks incredible and we want everyone to know how amazing you are as your deserve all the business out there available to you!

Very good family based quality builders. Communication was great throughout. Even though we chose some awkward options such as skillion roof and raked ceilings the build was completed on projected date.

Hotondo always came to our next meeting with some great options and alternatives to help us achieve what we wanted.I think one of the most impressive things was the level of communication we had with our builder, pre-, mid- and post-construction which was simply unprecedented. Whether it was face-to-face, via email, phone, a late night text message (they even met with us at all sorts of odd hours to accomodate for our hectic work schedules) Hotondo were available to answer any questions and queries we had.When you are building, people love to tell you all of their horror stories but our interactions and experiences with Hotondo were always pleasant and their quality and craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch.The entire team are just so friendly and down to earth and you just know that they are incredibly passionate about what they do.[Let me pre-face this next bit by saying that EVERY build will have issues.]When there were issues (and this was a rare occurence) they were handled swiftly and with care.
