One of the best places in Surry to get a sandwich bigger than your face for $7. Great quality sandwiches, wraps, authentic Vietnamese rolls, even cheap beverages (something unheard of around these ways)

You can rely on Crumbs for a satisfying banh mi, big vermicelli salads and nice rice rolls. Recommend the classic pork roll (maybe without shallot and onion if you’re going back to work).

Another great place to get lunch in the city under $10. You can get pork rolls, chicken rolls, any sort really. They let you customise your roll or sandwich so if you're looking for wholemeal etc., you can get it here.Their vermicelli salad bowls are the cheapest I've seen in the area and taste just as good.Rice paper rolls are also the cheapest in the area and very fresh. I've had the prawn and the pork and that was nice. Sauce was good too. Haven't tried the veggo one.They also have meat pies.

Crumbs is the best value lunch in Surry Hillls! There, I've said it. The chicken banh mi is fresh, delicious and only $8! The rice paper rolls are also fresh and good value. And the old school rocky road will put you in a blissful afternoon food-coma. Why people line up anywhere else in the area is beyond me. Are you all mad? Crumbs leaves the others in the dirt.

Nice little coffee shop located in Surry Hills. A short walk from Central station or from the light rail station. They sell a small variety of pastries and sweets like cupcakes, slices and tarts. They have smoothies and fruit. Popular at lunch time for their banh mi and salads. They also do coffees for an affordable price, and are still open for coffee later in the afternoon than other nearby coffee shops in Surry Hills. I was served by a friendly man the other day for a coffee late in the arvo.

Crumbs used old bread and all the veggies in the roll tasted like fridge. I would go two doors up to get your Vietnamese Pork Roll.
