Lara and Dylan are amazing at what they do and this is a trip not to be missed.My daughter 12 yrs and myself and Husband had the best day of our trip on this excellent snorkelling tripThe professionalism and knowledge of these 2 are first class and the equipment we hired was perfect. We all felt very comfortable and saw sharks and seals exactly as they described and better.I’ll be back for sure can’t believe how good it was the boat was so good and perfect and we had such great conditions with incredible visibility. We own boats and have done many trips and this will be a beautiful memory of our vacation. Thank you Lara and Dylan for sharing your passion of the ocean and all the best for 2023

Absolute must-do if you're in the area! I had the most epic morning with Lara and Dylan and would recommend it to anyone. They are laid back, personable, extremely professional, and will make sure you have the best experience. Seeing the coast line outside Jervis Bay from the water was breathtaking and swimming with the fur seals is one of my favorite all-time experiences. Equipment is top-notch, great instruction, and I would feel comfortable on this tour even is you have limited snorkel experience because this couple will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time.

Amazing boat tour where we snorkeled in the turquoise waters of Jervis Bay. We were taken to view sharks and also learnt about their behaviour and how to be around them. Snorkeling in the sea cave was a unique experience. Fruit, cake , lollies and hot drinks were supplied. A small personal group meant Dylan could give a lesson on freediving to whoever was interested.

My sister and I went out with Lara and Dylan for a whale and seal tour - it was fabulous! We saw a bunch of whales from the boat and heard them singing every time we were underwater. We had two seals briefly come and say hello, but the highlights were definitely freediving with a few juvenile grey nurse sharks, a large bull ray, a tiny eagle ray, and a part jackson shark. Lara and Dylan made everyone feel very relaxed and at ease in the water, and the places they took us suited the conditions and weather. The professional freediving gear was great, and the information about the park, its indigenous owners, and the wildlife was a great addition to the day (I also really loved the acknowledgement of country at the beginning of the tour). Would highly recommend diving with these guys, no matter your experience for a great day exploring the Jervis Bay Marine Park.

Where do I even start?I don’t think I could possibly put into words how magical our day was out on the water with Lara & Dylan.We travelled 4 hours just to jump on board with them and swim with the seals and we would (and will) do it again and again.From the moment you step onto their boat you are greeted with such warmth, excitement & professionalism. You just know it’s going to be an epic day.We have travelled extensively and been on many boat charters and I can honestly say none of them compare to these guys.Thank you both for such an incredible experience that still lights us up when we think about it.The only regret we have is that we didn’t come sooner!Do yourself a favour and book a trip with them, you won’t regret it.

Lara and Dylan love what they do and their enthusiasm must inevitably rub off on their students. Their approach to instruction is well ordered and thorough, covering the vital elements of free diving in a clear and non-technical manner. Lara’s anatomical sketches were a delight. Once in the water safety was paramount as we put our newly learnt skills into practice. The whole experience on land and sea was great fun and very well managed. I for one will be back for more!Well, here I am two years later and I have been back for more, many times. The culmination of these has led to me passing the wave two course, and last Saturday the achievement of a dive to 20 metres. I can attest that these successes were the result of the excellent training from the Woebegone team, their enthusiasm, cheerful assistance and consideration for my 80 years. I will certainly be back for more!

Cannot recommend woebegone enough! The crew are so knowledgeable about marine life and know the best places to go. I've never seen so many whales in my life and to have the opportunity to swim with them is an unbelievable experience. All you need for the swimming with whales trip is a positive attitude and some quick-slipping-on-fins skills. The best experience! You guys are incomparable! Will definitely make the trip back.

I did the freediving level 1 course with Woebegone in April, it was fantastic and gave me the skills and confidence to continue practicing freediving safely (i was always worried of damaging my ears!), and to improve my breath holds much more than i'd ever thought i could. It really is a case of just needing to know the methodologies, being taught them and then putting them into practice, and then anyone can do it, so regardless of where someone is on their snorkelling or freediving journey i think this course is great for everyone. On top of all that, Woebegone is all about earth and ocean sustainability too, certainly a business worth supporting if you love the water. Cheers Dylan and Lara!
