Friendly fellowship.

I first came to VHCoC some 2 years ago after my wife and I came to live at Hayborough. I felt at home right away. Most people were welcoming and friendly. You may say that this should be expected, but in some churches I have been to, even for a while, this hasn't always been the case.The congregation was split between two services, contemporary at 9:00am and traditional at 10:30am and I attended the contemporary services. However we have recently all joined together now for one Sunday service, which most of us are loving and appreciating the opportunity to meet everyone from our Church.I have found the sermons from the Minister, Phil Alcorn, to be both challenging and thought-provoking; which has helped me to rekindle my Christian faith. After 6 months or so I accepted an offer to be a part of the Worship team as a Leader and have from January 2017 been elected as an Elder. I am far from being a perfect person or Christian, but I have found a place where I can be accepted for who I am, even for my 'Accounting' humour!!!If you're looking for a place where you can be accepted for who you are too, we welcome you to join us... and if you're not a Christian we especially welcome you to join us, to challenge us with your questions and to learn what it is that Christ has to offer you!

Given a tour of this cosy church. A lot has been done to make it bright, warm and inviting.It has a multi-purpose function hall, as well as a library.
