I still think its the most beautiful beach on the Great Ocean Rd with the sea on one side and the lake on the other and many beautiful rocks to dive off and sand dunes to toboggan down...lots of fun!! Nice and quiet even in peak season

Beautiful beach views and the beach was very empty and free of tourists. Can get a little chilly with the breeze so bring a windbreaker! The waves around here get very big and the water is very clear, so it's a really pleasant environment to take I.

Such a beautiful beach, it's not a tourist spot so it's quiet and suitable for chilling in a stunning view with rocks making small pools

Not a very big beach but there is some great spot for a look out. If you head towards the James Irvine Monument, there is also a binocular that you can use. Not many people here as this is not a famous spot, but there is a public toilet nearby which you can use.

The beach is rocky but nice for relaxed swim, it is not guarded so need to be careful with children. We liked the peace and quiet there.

Beautiful beach to visit, not crowded at all. No gaurds on duty here, be careful. Water depth could vary.

Awesome little calm water beach on the river by the bridge. Good flat sandy beach. Lots of grass. Nearby seating for observing your kids in the water. Next to the main beach. Public toilets nearby. Playground nearby. BBQ shelter nearby.

We drove from The Grotto and searched public toilets on Google map and it recommended the nearest toilets were at the Peterborough Beach. There are some families playing on the beach and some are swimming. It is so windy and the temperature is not so high, maybe around 20 centigrade. I did not step on the beach as it was cold.
