I sent my Mini there for the Fuel pump to be replaced alongside with the engine mount, both were fixed at half of the price I had been quoted elsewhere.I was kept in the loop regarding pricing prior to anything being done also.Great experience for me! Defiantly recommend them and I will return (hopefully not soon)

My hunt for a 2008 Mini Clubman led me to Fred's Auto - this was a rebuild and I was very specific about what I wanted the end result to be. Sam and the team did an amazing job of getting the car just the way I wanted it, and were able to source some pretty obscure parts to complete the car to my requirements. The best place in Melbourne to buy used parts for Minis, great service. Prices are good and I’ve always been able to get the parts needed.

After spending about $7000 on a second hand engine and multiple parts, which one of the parts was broken (I could still fix and use) the other was a wrong model type for my car which I was very clear on. After some back and forth they tell me their dog ate the item I was looking for and now have gone silent while I'm trying to get a refund for the wrong item they sent me. Would not recommend.

Went to Fred's for a gearbox replacement and was very happy with every part of the experience. Sam was very helpful over the phone, even before I had decided to bring the car in for work at his shop. They honoured a warranty immediately and without fuss after the part failed and were quick to replace it again. Will be very happy to take my Mini there anytime.

Great people. Originally went to a competitor for a 2004 Mini Cooper power steering pump but got a lifetime ban from their store???Came to Fred’s Autos and he was very nice and professional about it, got the part I came for as described and didn’t get a lifetime ban. Would buy here 100 times over before I’d even think about going to the competitor.

Awesome service. I phoned and spoke to Sam about a front LH guard for a 2014 Ranger and he said he had one. We arrived the next day and were met by Tony, a lovely polite man, who took us out to the car. As the guard was still attached I thought this is going to take a while but Tony got one of his boys straight onto it and he had it off in less than 5 minutes! He was about to hand the guard to us but Tony insisted he take it and wrap it in plastic and put it in the car for us as I was on crutches. While we were waiting Tony offered my wife and I a drink and somewhere to sit in the shade. Awesome service and a perfectly straight guard for $150 was an absolute bargain. Thanks guys.
