Taste Banh Mi - Aldinga

Amazing Banh Mi, very fresh ingredients, fantastic pork and plenty of it. Really enjoyed this heaps. The salt and pepper squid is also awesome. The shop is accessible.

Really disappointed. I always come here but yesterday I bought 3 combo fried rice bowls for $42 and the rice was so soggy and almost jelly like it was inedible, the pork smelt old and was so dry my dog and cats didn't even want to eat it. I'm really sad because I used to love this place but won't be going back again as the was really gross. Prices up, quality down. How sad.

As a family we eat from here quite regularly, every one/two weeks we will get two fried rice to go with frozen spring rolls/dumplings as a quick and easy meal when I work late. It always feeds myself and three kids easily, tonight I had two extra teens to feed so I ordered three fried rices. When I got home and pulled the rices put to serve, I realised they were very empty looking, one was slightly more filled and two were maybe quarter filled. I packed them back away and quickly called the store and explained the situation, the lady on the phone asked if I would return to the store with them, which I agreed to. As soon as I got into the store she said the kitchen said that's all that they put in there and usually the rest of the space is filled with chicken or tofu, I explained I purchase it almost weekly and it's always over half filled tubs and these were closer to quarter filled, she said that the kitchen told her I've got it wrong. She never even looked at what I had returned, not even glanced. I asked why she told me to come back into the store if it was just to tell me I'm wrong and she rolled her eyes in response. I found that so rude, so rather than continue any further I just took my rice and left, but I will never return. The shameful food portion was bad enough, but to be treated poorly when I was completely courteous is terrible customer service.

The pork rice bowl with sauce absolutely delicious. The only thing sad is the location, hard to get people to turn off South Rd and drive for 10 minutes in 50km/h zones past schools. This is a problem with the council who run the area, not the business! Increase speed limits and rezone commercial districts closer to main roads or small businesses out here won’t survive!

Consistently a good roll, some of the best in Adelaide, with a good crunch, well cooked tofu and pretty good sauce. The service was okay, just average, and the roll was prepared in time.All in all a good place to get a Vietnamese roll though, I may add, $8 can be seen as a little expensive (not overpriced but expensive).

I used to love this place. But now there just getting lazy. Used to cut up all meat to mouth sized pieces. Cut up coriander, mint nuts. Now you just get full size sprigs of coriander and mint. Whole nuts. And sliced meats so big you can fit em in your mouth. Lacking off on noodles. Used to be amazing food, but now all I think of when eating it is how much they have slacked off, and how lazy they are. Food tastes good but so lazy it's not worth my money anymore

It's not the best dog roll I've had but it's my local so I don't really have a choice.It's not to bad, the pork isn't as crackly as I've had at other places.
