We have been using travel auctions for many years to destinations in Victoria and New South Wales. Whether travelling as a couple or with friends and family we are always amazed at prices and destinations. Every travel auction we have experienced have been in locations close to cities and shopping areas and also extremely comfortable accommodation. We would recommend anyone to enjoy trying travel auctions like us.

We have used a Travel Auctions since we purchased our caravan. A fellow traveller informed us about the site and we have bid on many properties and powered sites in the last five years. We have always found the people at Travel Auctions extremely helpful and polite. During COVID we needed to change several of our bookings and the businesses were very accommodating even in an instance where our voucher would have expired. We are very happy with the process of bidding and support we have been given by staff.

We have found the selection of destinations to be wide ranging and diverse. We look forward to the emails arriving to select which destination we will put in for next.The system is easy to navigate and the response is always prompt.We have not been disappointed with any of our selections.We would highly recommend this site to anyone and we do to anyone who have similar travel aspirations as ourselves.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 nights stay at McCracken Country Club, Victor Harbor at the beginning of June. We stayed in a Loft Spa room which gave us fabulous views and scenery overlooking the golf course. The room was large, with a king size bed, 2 couches, a table with 2 chairs and good-sized wardrobe plus all the extras that you would expect. The bathroom was huge with a fabulous shower, a spa and a good-sized vanity unit to store things in.The restaurant was open for 3 meals per day and our first breakfast there was amazing. I chose the Spanish Omelette, and it was huge and out of this world. My husband chose the House Made Granola, which was a large serve, but it was the best he had ever had. Needless to say, neither of us wanted lunch that day.As the weather was not the best, our days were filled with reading, walking when the weather permitted and absolutely relaxing in our beautiful room. Victor Harbor is always a lovely spot to visit with lots to do and see. Port Elliot and Goolwa are only short drives away and always great places to visit. We even managed to get to the Victor Cinema on two evenings and there was always a beautiful warm fire to come back to at the end of the day to warm up and sit near.The facilities and location for our stay were fantastic. We were within a short walk to a beautiful Coles shopping centre where we could pick up any supplies that we needed.We are looking forward to another opportunity to stay at this lovely place in the future. We will not be purchasing any further travel auctions. We have lost money on our expired vouchers. We have three unused vouchers that have expired (purchased prior to second covid lockdown Dec 2021). We live in Victoria and experienced the longest lockdown and then restrictions on travel outside our town. We were unable to travel due to lockdowns, restrictions and contracting covid ourselves twice or were a close contact. I contacted a caravan park (Robe SA) where we have stayed many times to book for 5 days next week and they have restricted our possible bookings to June only, not a particularly good area to visit in winter. I contacted travel auctions head office in SA who stated that we were not eligible for a refund on any of our vouchers and it was at the park owners discretion whether to honour the expired voucher, even though the parks claim the bid amount on expired vouchers.We have in the past sung the praises of these travel auctions and have purchased in good faith. We will not recommend purchasing if asked in the future. Please be aware of the terms and conditions before making a bid.

Travel Auctions have a great variety of properties to suit all tastes. The caravan park cabins were four star and the motels offered great extras. Overall I thought travel auctions offered great value deals in some impressive towns.

We have had very good experiences with our holiday auctions.Our most recent being on a houseboat.It was great,manageable by the two of us.
