It was for my mother's birthday that my family and I first visited this place. As we descended the steps into what appeared to be a basement, we were instead greeted by a warm bustling authentic Italian restaurant revolving around a huge pizza oven, we sat, ordered and awaited our food in quiet anticipation broken only by lighthearted birthday chatter, at last our pizzas arrive on beautiful wooden platters, we all dig in no questions asked, I raise a slice gently to my lips and take a bite and BOOM! Italy in my mouth, brought to me in a small town in the southwest of Australia. Truly a must visit if you come to Margaret River.
