Beechworth Wildlife Stays

Absolutely loved our weekend away at Beechworth Wildlife Stays. It was an incredibly cold weekend during our stay, yet the accommodation/tent heating was more than up to the task of keeping us warm all day and night.The owners are an incredible couple that clearly love what they do. They were awesome with our children and were happy to show them all of the animals and make their weekend a special one too.We didn't get much use out of the pool, given the frosty temps, but the heated spa was a hit with everyone. The fire pit, located right beside the pool, is a great idea and made for a nice area to chat at the end of the night.Each tent had heaps of space and the layout and attention to detail made them quite unique and even luxurious.The property was no more than a couple KMs from town, so getting around was still a breeze.I will no doubt go back again and would recommend anyone thinking of a weekend away with a difference to give it a go also.

One of the best family friendly stays we've had in Vic. The glamping tent was nice and relaxing. Kids spent hours in the pool and the spa was a nice addition, became a baby pool for my son who wasn't confident in the big pool. Being able to see, handle and feed the animals at any time during our stay was a massive tick, they've got farm animals and lots of different reptiles. The highlight for me was the owners dog, Luca. Wow what a friendly, kind and well mannered dog who just followed us/kids everywhere. She's such a joy to be around. And to the owners, David & Sue, thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. Showing us around, always smiling and welcoming our kids, you guys are amazing! We will definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends!

We loved our girls weekend away here! We chose the bigger of the two tents, and it for all 6 of us perfectly! Being surrounded by the animals was lovely, and quite funny at times when the goats came to visit you at your front door!Also, yes, it's a tent, but it has a full set of sliding front doors, a kitchenette, proper bathroom and ducted heating! Who knew camping" could be so good!The pool

If you are looking for something special - this is it! Walks, animals, close to town and fabulously welcoming hosts was then topped off with some escapism in the glam" tent. Very easy to curl up on the comfy couch with a magazine and soak up the surroundings. We will definitely be back!"

Amazing glamping experience in a luxurious tent with all the comforts you didn’t realise you may want until you see them. Dave & Sue are wonderful hosts, happy to show you their beautiful animals and wildlife rescues. Wallabies, emus, goats, an alpaca and a goose, a crocodile and a turtle (who happen to be the best of friends), reptiles and some very cute wombats are just some of the animals that appear on the grounds of Beechworth Wildlife stays. Animals are incredibly friendly (may find them sun baking on your deck during the day) and guests (including children) are encouraged to help feed them at their designated meal times.Beechworth Wildlife Stays is 2 minutes out of Beechworth and yet your feel like you are in the bush, the tents have fans and air conditioning and there is a pool and spa facility for your use during your stay, perfect for the summer nights. This experience is wonderful for families looking for a unique experience, or couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Phone service is limited, which is the perfect way to disconnect.

Beechworth Wildlife stay- we (2 adults and 4 kids aged 7, 5, 2, 0) had SO MUCH fun! It was so relaxing sitting back on the deck of our glam tent listening to all the birds and watching the animals. We had the most wonderful stay and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the animals. Sue and David are hosts with the most! They would do anything for us at anytime, if we asked! They assured our stay was comfortable, relaxed and fun! Thank you so very much- we WILL be back!!!

Hands down, one of the best places we've stayed as a family. My kids loved the goats & crocodile. The hosts are lovely & the location is very convenient to the main town. Thank you.

We had a great stay at Beechworth Wildlife Stays. Sue and Dave are very friendly hosts and the accommodation is unique and comfortable.It's also very handy to Beechworth itself.

Absolutley lovley hosts. The tent was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our hens party. Comfortable stay, and we felt good knowing profits go back into the wildlife that live here. Using the Pizza oven for dinner was superb.
