Really nice view out over the bay looking back to Utangan pier. HB council has done well developing its access to bayside rest and dining areas with awesome views out over the ocean. Well done.

Lovely relaxing place to picnic, exercise or simple sit and contemplate. There is a boat ramp here which looks suitable for small boats. It's a narrow path through the rocks with the sea breeze pushing wash straight onto the cannal.

I love the gables. Turtles hang out in the boat ramp when there's a northerly breeze. (In season). A few picnic tables and great views at sunset.

This is a great area to have a look at the ocean. It's a rocky beach rather than a sandy beach, but this does create a series of rock pools which are quite nice. Supposedly migratory birds nest here, so we do need to be wary of disrupting the birds. But overall, the area creates a sense of calm, and is good for a relaxing afternoon.

This is a lovely offleash dog walking area. Today was a bit fresh up near the road but on the beach it was beautiful.
