Suprised to read the bad reviews about this company. These guys were recommended to me and my experience was great. The staff were very helpful and worked to my requirements/budget. I did receive a phone call prior to delivery. Overall, very happy with the service provided.

I rang this company 4 weeks before to book in what I needed . I made sure I asked them to repeat my order and that it would be delivered on time . I have just rung them 2 weeks before and now they don’t have the order , never heard of it . Please do not call this company they are inefficient and unreliable .You will be seriously let down .

Replied late with a promised date to deliver tables to hire for our wedding with no reply response or answer when we tried to call back. 3 different numbers calling and messaging. Very unprofessional. Communication is not their strong point. Just a waste of time honestly very disappointed.

Very bad customer experience!! Aggressive and manipulative people who are not professional. Gave explicit instructions well in advance prior to the event only to find out that instructions had been ignored 3days prior to the event with customer receiving criticism for their own mistake. Furniture is in good condition, was guaranteed delivery on a friday evening for the baby shower event the next morning but after taking a deposit was told this is not possible 3days prior to the event. Driver does not call before coming for delivery and pick up and does not stick to agreed time.

I recently called Silvas Party Hire for a weekend party, after some other company let me down. There equipment are of really good quality, clean & in great condition. I Would definitely recommend them any type of for event / party hire in Melbourne .

Not a great experience dealing with this company. Very unprofessional. I ordered some glasses for hire and arrived at the address on their facebook page in Dandenong, to find nothing there. I called and was directed to another suburb which was a residential address. I was not told to bring cash, but apparently they made it very clear to me that I could only pay cash (It would have been nice of them to mention the word cash). After I picked up the glasses I explained the situation only to receive short, unkind responses about transferring money to their bank (listed on the invoice).I unpacked the glasses that night for our event the next day and one in the bottom was chipped, I had been very careful with them so I thought I would send an email straight away and explain. To my shock I received a rude response telling me that I must have dropped the glass. Mind you there was no evidence of the shard and they were not packed properly from the start. In the end they fought and I just paid for the broken glass to be rid of them. I have worked in hospitality most of my life so I understand customer service very well.Cheaper isn't always better and my experience proved this. Wouldn't use them again.
