Spotlight Maroochydore

Spotlight plantation shutters. DO NOT DO IT. I ordered these before Xmas 2022. They told me 3 months, so oh ok but pay in full upfront for 4 large shutters. Deep breath as it's a lot of $$$$ but I did. Come March 2023, installation day AND... one shutter had been broken in the warehouse by a forklift and the installer didn't notice" until he got to my house. So wait a week while they organise paperwork. Finally had to get onto the Dept of Fair Trading as I just got the runaround from their customer service. Re ordered a new shutter. No expediting

**BEWARE OF 3HR PARKING - $85 FINE**I just wanted to warn shoppers that there is a 3HR Parking limit on this car park at Spotlight/Anaconda/Harris Scarfe. They have hidden cameras that record your registration and will send you an $85 non-negotiable breach notice if you exceed the 3HR limit. There is no transparency of these car park terms & conditions on the website or Google. You are only notified by one sign in the garden bed as you enter and some small signs on the light posts in the car park itself.

This new megastore is amazing. The shop is huge and has so much selection. I made an online purchase that was ready to pick up really quickly. I also grabbed a few extra things in store and the click and collect location is the same place you make your in store purchases, so it makes it super easy to get everything you need (instead of having the click and collect at a different location like a lot ks other stores). The person who served me was really helpful and had a bit of banter with me which is always a nice shopping experience. I'll be going back here for sure.

Hard to find but when I found crochet hook large range. Discount table (set of crochet hooks) not very discounted

well- i was appalled when in the line today. the line was getting long and a lady with black hair in a pony tail and glasses was up serving a person in front of me and responded to the team member on the ear piece in a harsh toned voice. not to mention then she tells the young boy that was getting the click and collect label printer out for her to “stop the other lady is doing it” in a rude tone. that is not how you treat your coworkers. she answers on the ear piece again in the same tone and say out loud while still serving the customer “i’m so done with this place. i’m just ready to walk out. yep i would walk out now.” this had me shocked. people don’t say those things out loud, especially not to a customer, which it was directed to the customer. that is shocking and if that’s how she’s speaking and reacting to the team members i can’t imagine the customers.

Good store, great range. One downside is if you don’t buy anything, you have to fight (excuse) yourself through the queue of shoppers waiting to pay (about 20 today) to exit as it is the only option, getting the evil eye as you go though as they automatically think you are jumping the line.

Wide variety of goods for every part of your home at reasonable prices. Great member discounts. Check out was smooth and friendly. If you like homewares plus...this is the place!

Women working in the fabric section are about as useful as t*ts on a bull. So UNNECESSARILY slow to do ANYTHING. asked for help from the same girl FOUR times and she still continued to just point to where she reckons the fabric I was looking for was instead of assisting or helping find it. Spent over 45 minutes with another woman and ended up just walking tf out. Was planning on spending a decent amount to make our own kombi curtains too but will never set foot into that store again. At least at the kawana one they TRY help. This happened may 10th 2:20pm. Everyone working in fabric at that time should be fired

Very disappointed. Asked an Employee for assistance not a word spoken in reply, we got a finger point only in the direction of the item we inquired about. Normally Spotlight staff are polite and helpful. Sorry Maroochydore we'll keep our business for someone else. I did check and the Woman wasn't serving anyone else.
