My son started in Redfield in Year 7 in the school year of 2021 and we are pleasantly surprised how he transformed from a primary school boy into a wonderful and responsible young man. We were initially worried that he might not be able to cope or fit in as he is the “new boy” in school. But I’m glad he eased his way through into the school with the warm welcome from the Redfield staff, teachers, and students. He had a few struggles in the beginning, adjusting to his high school routine especially during the height of Covid when he had to do a mix of online and face-to-face classes. But we are grateful to the Redfield academic team for their unwavering guidance and support to the boys to help them keep motivated without compromising their quality of learning. My youngest son will also be starting in Redfield and my daughter in their sister school next year. We are very happy and proud to be a part of the PARED community that makes it easier for us parents to instil the right values in our children and at the same time give them the right encouragement to help them strive for academic excellence.

My son started in Redfield in Year 2 and we are very pleased with the great learning environment and 2 small class per grade concept. Great school with more focus on character development for the boys. My son loves the school and looking forward for his next chapter in high school.

Look, this school is great, great environment, great boys, mostly great teachers. They hired a new teacher from England, the worst teacher they could ever hire, takes for ever to mark the work (6 weeks!) and is wayyyy to strict, l'm not saying strict is bad, but he is the most boring and dull person l could've ever met in my life, l don't know how he has a wide and kids. The worst marker at Redfield, doesn't give us reasons why it was bad or what we could've done. In my opinion, they need to get a more energetic teacher and not some boring dull person, l hope he leaves for good and NEVER comes back to this school

We feel privileged to be part of the Redfield College and the PARED schools community. We didn't have any referrals about the school prior to enrolment in 2022 but after a full year we can confidently say that it was the BEST decision we could have made for our son. The school delivered everything they promised and went over and beyond to support our son in his first year. The staff is fantastic, the mentoring program is genuinely personalized, and the boys were very welcoming to our son. It's just a shame that we haven't started earlier at Redfield College.

I went through Redfield in the 90’s. I was intrigued by some of the claims made on the recent Four Corners episode - as I neither experienced nor recall any of the practises claimed by some of the interviewees. It’s not perfect but what school or person is? My experience at Redfield was overwhelmingly positive - and I have made lifelong friends from my time there. Its staff are also very authentic and genuine in their concern for the spiritual and physical welfare of not just their students but their old boys. I don’t know of many school principals and teachers that are in touch with so many of their alumni as those at RedfieldI would recommend this school to any parents looking for a quality well rounded education for their boys

Every student is so nice at Redfield. They are all so thoughtful, kind and have a good sense of mateship. This is a fun and active school for my sons. Most teachers whom I’ve met so far and those who have directly taught my sons (both Primary and Highschool) were genuinely interested to support and encourage them, to give their best into their learning. The mentors (past and current) for our sons have been fantastic because they were empathetic and respectful towards us. As a parent, we receive more than our sons’ academic support, we also receive parenting support through regular key parent functions, and the school’s The Parent-Teacher Project podcast on how to raise strong, purposeful and confident boys around character growth, virtues and positive relationships.

In my 10 years at Redfield College, I was undeservedly blessed to have remarkable educators and mentors, setting me up for great academic results but also my personal growth - knowing who I was and what I thought was important to a meaningful life, understanding the value of good habits and the value and primacy of deep and personal relationships with God, my family and friends.Even though the school has grown much since then, I see the same ethos and passion as I experienced in the teachers who are supporting my sons on their learning journey.Would not hesitate to recommend Redfield to any parent, student or teacher who sees learning and building character as a lifelong journey founded in the search for the good, the true and the beautiful in human existence.

The school fosters excellent students in sports, music, and academics. It is a school that has proven that it teaches facts, as evidenced by its remarkable performance in the HSC, the stats of which can easily be found online. Of course, you can also find the curriculum on their website. It comes as no surprise that many graduates are known in their fields as upstanding people who are diligent at work, practising the values and teachings that they grew in Redfield. There is a noticeable and positive difference in how a graduate conducts himself as a hardworker with solid moral values. If there is a gold standard of men, it is a Redfield Old Boy.This is a school that truly cares about its students. The parent-student-teacher dynamic is fundamental to Redfield. YOU, as a parent, have a say in how your child will be taught. YOU, as a parent, are a close mediator in his upbringing. How powerful this is, cannot be understated, and I do not know of other schools outside of PARED that value this so much. The school cares so much about your son that they assign him a mentor whom you work with, whose role is to critically analyse his performance, and also help foster healthy habits and virtues. You can rest assured that in sending your children to Redfield, his talents will be nurtured and manifested for whatever he wants to do in life. You can rest assured that your son will be recognised by people around him as a good man, who, by example, leads others to become virtuous like himself. The world needs more men like this.

This College is truly unique. We really value the mentoring system so that my son has a mentor to work with him, and us, to help him achieve his best...not just in academics but in all areas of life. There is a strong focus on academics as well as sports, music and all areas of students development. The grounds are beautiful and the staff and families there are amazing. Couldn't be happier.
