Platonic hair studio

Wish I didn't have to post this but I want to leave honest feedback. Lovely salon and the owners are nice - however my experience was sub-par.I provided clear guidance and requested advice on styling - no advice was provided. I paid for a style cut and colour and was given a trim - despite showing inspo pics that would require my hair to be cut in a certain direction to achieve over time.I explained I had previous issues with over bleaching and dryness and specifically wanted salon quality colouring to prevent this. My hair was then over-bleached and is now parts are dead and falling out.I'm disappointed because the salon charged top dollar ($220) for a short hair male colour and style, and I got a trim and rough bleach.The colour also didn't match the direction I gave. I was advised to go home and use purple shampoo, my expectation was to leave with the right colour achieved - especially for the price.I don't doubt that they can achieve good quality, however the time, effort and attention wasn't given to my appointment. Instead, they were working between other clients, which is okay, but my hair wasnt checked during that time.As a new client, I was looking for a salon to attend regularly and build an ongoing relationship with. I recommend taking time to invest in new clients and provide a bespoke experience.

Was thrilled with the result after having my hair styled by Andy. Felt totally pampered and possibly the best finish on my hair EVER!Will definitely be going back. They're the best!

My new go to curly hair hairdressers! Andy transformed and resuscitated my lifeless curls back to health within my first session. Beyond impressed with the service, technical skill, knowledge and price. Andy and Danny are clearly focused on providing each client with a tailored style and experience rather than the generalised cookie cutter haircuts offered in most overpriced salons. Thank you guys for my beautiful haircut, I am very happy with the results and I will definitely be back. I encourage all fellow curlies to book themselves into this salon, you won’t be disappointed.

Andi and Danny are welcoming and provide a luxurious salon experience. Andi takes the time to listen to what I want and provide advice and my hair is always beautifully cut and styled. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!!! Got hair layered, dyed and foils. The colour and style is perfect. I thinks the best I've ever had!!! Hair was done by Andy and he co owns the salon and use Aus products!!!!
