Fantastic!!One of the best food experiences I had on a recent visit to Aussie. After a long day of driving and spot seeing, needed a hearty fix! The spice level was on point! Perfectly balanced! The thigh cooked to juicy perfection.The server was very helpful in helping to determine what was best eaten! Their recommendations were well received and easily the highlight of the experience outside of the food itself!

Amazing restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food! Out of all the burgers I’ve tried in Geelong, the Hot Chicken Project burgers take the cake. Every time when visiting, the burgers have been consistently good, the chicken has always been cooked perfectly and the staff have always been friendly. The restaurant has a really good location and their menu has a good variety of items and sides. There is also a good variety of spice levels going from very mild to extremely spicy. I Definitely would recommend if you are in the area.

Came here after walking past last time we were in Geelong post lunch and having many regrets. No regrets today.This is hands down the best fried chicken I've had. Wings were crispy on the outside, juicy meat, bursting with flavour. Shoestring fries are bomb, potato salad was fantastic as well, and the sauces are delicious. Will be back to eventually try everything on the menu at least once.

Good burgers and nice helpful staff. Can split pay with your group so decent for work events. Only down side is options for seating and feeling a bit squashed inside

Nice place to dine and chill. Ordered the Alabama burger with coleslaw. Burger is nice and the spiciness is just right for me. Beer on tap is great. The only letdown is the coleslaw. Will definitely visit again to try the other burgers and wings.

Nice place to get your fix of spicy wings. Upbeat, funky atmosphere and good service. The chicken was excellent, and the fries were pretty good too. The coleslaw was very basic and could be made more interesting - possibly the addition of mayo would make it a more exciting variety. Overall a good experience.

Very disappointing knowing how good it used to be and who is behind it. Given Aaron puts his name to this place, he needs to ensure that his usual standards are met. As a restaurant owner of 19 venues I believe I know what I’m talking about. Chicken was Overcooked, Dry and Too spicy considering it was supposed to be medium.We had the evil as a comparison and there seemed little difference.Pickles warm and floppy not crispFries dry were way overcookedSauces watery and not creamy as they should be. Shame for one of my go to venues when I’m Geelong!

Tried the off menu" super-extra-hot Lucifer heat on the wings.I can't see through the tears. My throat is on fire. My lips have stopped reporting anything. I made the mistake of rubbing my nose and now it feels like there are chillies growing in my brain.My kids are laughing at me. My wife refuses to acknowledge me.10/10

Coming from North Queensland I was seeking warmth. I had found it. Beautifully cooked chicken filet in a burger with crispy breading, all lathered in a spicy sauce to get the body temperature rising. It was a nice cozy atmosphere with wicked decor. Oh, and the prices were also as delicious and succulent as the chicken. I will definitely visit next time I am in Geelong for a few more bites and beers.
