Visited Samantha Jones for the first time and with trepidation as my more recent experiences at hairdressers have been very disappointing. However, Tiffany took me on and did a really wonderful job. She chose a perfect colour and produced excellent styling, great attention to detail and very careful worker. Thank you Tiffany, I'm sorry I didn't show more appreciation at the time. I will be back!

Update: I've now been going to Samantha Jones HC for the past 18 months or so. I've had a couple of stylist changes and all of them have been 4-5 stars, but I am finding one of the new stylists, Sandy, particularly easy to work with. I have issues with anxiety and she is calm, professional and not afraid to say I don't understand what you mean."That seems like a small thing

I tried Samantha Jones Hair for the first time today and loved it! Maisa did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and I would highly recommend. She is so passionate about what she does and it really showed through my haircut. The salon is clean, very professional and I will be back again.

Have had many hair appointments at this salon and loved my experience with Tiffany. Unfortunately though my last experience has put me off ever coming back. I was rescheduled twice which is understandable in this new world" however I was put into a late afternoon spot that I knew would be pushing it for my appointment however previously Tiffany had made it work. All I really wanted was to have a proper last hair appointment before my baby was born. Instead my appointment started 20 minutes late and when it came to my hair cut there wasn't time. All I really needed was a fringe trim but I was informed I would have to come back. I was heavily pregnant and actually ended up having the baby the following week. A refund for the cut component of the hair cut seemed too impossible so I did return for my 5 minute trim with my newborn and it was the worst fringe trim I've ever had. I hope your staffing issues have since been rectified and your great client experience has returned."

I tried to give this salon another chance as i actually quite enjoyed going here when i first moved to North Lakes but I've yet again had a disappointing experience. My stylist had no interpersonal skills and gave me the most rushed haircut I've ever had (not to mention a rude comment about my hair being oily). I just got the feeling that she really couldn't be bothered. She then passed me over to a young inexperienced girl that really didn't seem to know what she was doing. I came for a day of pampering and a professional service and instead got a rushed haircut, a clumsy shampoo and a rushed styling with 2 people awkwardly blowdrying my hair which didn't look good at all. The atmosphere in the salon wasn't positive at all. The girls didn't seem to get along and it was awkward for me. $106 wasted! Please do better!

Very positive experience with Majella and the girls and Samantha Jones Hair Co. Majella gave me a very detailed consultation and provided options. The salon is very fresh, clean and stylish. Quality products and equipment used. Definitely coming back soon!

Terrible service!! Sandy was rude and I lost count of how many times I was hit in the with the hairdryer. Colour left all over my forehead. When I said something she said “you should have asked if you wanted me to remove the dye off your head” a client should not have to ask for black stains to be removed from their forehead! Also tried to charge me $66 for a haircut I did not have. The owners solution? Scrubbed my head with a baby wipe and charged me $198 for a hair colour and blow dry. Steer well clear!

An absolute amazing experience. For someone who had not been to a hairdressing salon for nearly 5 years due to a bad experience, I was understandingly nervous. I was made to feel completely at ease, especially considering I was fitted in last minute the afternoon before. My hair turned out amazing (I had my first balayage) and being there for a few hours and the salon being busy, I never felt uncomfortable and was offered drinks and checked on often. They also last minute, fit me in for a eyebrow & eyelash tint and was never made to feel guilty about my last minute request. A huge thanks to Samantha for organising everything and Jasmine (colourist) and Tiffany for making my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes beautiful. Highly recommend this hair salon to anyone.

Wow where to start with this review. Firstly, I have very very thick coloured hair. I attended this salon as my usual hair dresser of 4 years was on maternity leave. I was just looking for a full head of foils to assist in the process of going lighter but what I got was a complete makeover and a very positive experience. I am now fully blonde , have a good understating about maintenance and a new local hairdresser . I am very pleased with my colour and I will be back and I would recommend this salon to friends. Thank you for the lovely experience.

I've had some of the best stylists and colourists in the UK and Australia so going on the reviews thought would give this salon a try. Sadly my experience was not the same. My appointment was changed two days before so I didn't get the original stylist I had booked and the result of my $290 visit has resulted in me seeking help and an additional $250 to repair the over processed straw I was left with. My hair has snapped and broken and required a considerable restyling. I hesitated in writing this review and would have returned to the salon to let them of my disappointment but am no longer in the area.
