They told me the curries were mild and maybe it is to them but it’s a little spicy to me. At least I could still eat it and enjoy it. None of the curries I had stood out and the meats were all attached to the bones. I know people feel this tastes better but it just reduces the enjoyment of the food for me

We had a lunch on a weekend. Apart from normal taste of the food, we were disappointed by not giving a glass of water to drink. I believe this is a Fair Trading requirement. We were asked to pay for the bottle of water if we want.I may visit one more time to this restaurant to check whether they changed their habit and whether we need to complain to Fair Trading.

An authentic Keralite (South western Indian) restaurant. Had the kerala paratha and thali with red rice (see photo), Avial, chicken roast, etc. This food is not to be confused with SriLankan or typical Indian. Restaurant is small and when crowded service can be slow. But barring that food is amazing and worth the experience. Menu specials include Meen (fish), Kaapa(Kasava Mash), rabbit, duck, deer, kangaroo, fish,etc.

Wow wow wow just amazing! It's authentic Keralite cuisine and the food tastes very similar to what I'd have at home. I ordered 2 veg and 1 meat for <$17 ( plain rice, chicken, beetroot varai/ dry beetroot curry & dhal curry). Fish fry was $3 per piece on top of that. Well worth it. Why don't they have anything like this in Canberra?They could spruce up the interior a bit. They have plastic forks and spoons but you have to ask for them. I felt like they could keep some real cutlery. They do have water bottles and cups. No wait staff, there's one guy behind the counter and it's quite busy. If the decor wasn't shabby and the food wasn't sitting out in bain maries I would have given it a 5.

Placed order for take away. Packing was not done right. Raita leaked and got into biriyani. By the time I reached home, biriyani was soggy. This is the first time happening to me. Usually they cling wrap the food. But not this time.

This place has taken a big leap forward in variety and quality !!! Met the new chef there -who seems the bringing the magic. The food now is always fresh and very well balanced.I used to frequent this shop a few years back but stopped as the food was not great - but now excited that it’s surely back and better than ever!Highly recommend this place!!

It can satisfy Kerala good cravings to some extend. But I feel the authenticity in taste should be made better. The meals is average. Have good scope of improvement
