Everything we ate here was truly delicious…We were skeptical when our waitstaff said anything we would order would be good, but it really was!The pastas were cooked perfectly and very flavourful. The scallops were huge and tasty and pizza fritter was also a yummy treat.I would recommend the gnocchi pasta with stracciatella, beef ragu and pizza fritter

Wonderful breakfast for 45/pp at Peppina. The food selection is high quality, be it cold cuts of meat, salad, fruits, sourdough bread, sausages, dessert or coffee. The decor is upscale and the service is attentive and pleasant.We loved it so much that we came back the next day! Highly recommend it!

Bright, beautiful, cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar seats looking into the kitchen which was very cool. Wonderful staff. Fantastic food. We had the burrata appetizer and a pasta each for our main courses. My husband got the pasta of the day which was a spaghetti pesto with prawns and mussels, and I got the Ricotta Cavatelli. Both were fantastic! Highly recommend!

If staff are inexperienced then have them display a trainee tag and we can all support them and manage our expectations. We did the 1730 sitting knowing that we had the table till 1930. The table service was pleasant but intrusive/jarring at times. Good service is noted by being almost invisible and timely. The ending was poor. Dessert finished, spoon put down, anything else?". No thanks. Bill arrives on table 60 seconds later. Before I can open it the waiter is back with the card machine at my elbow. Perhaps they need to install ejector seats or trapdoors to move you on quickly now that you have spent your money. Table was still ours for half an hour but we were being moved on at 1900. An unpleasant finish to a good but not remarkable meal."

The location and restaurant itself is absolutely incredible such a beautiful restaurant! It has been done so well that it honestly does not feel like you are in Tassie.The entire staff are incredibly friendly and appear to be very hard working and passionate about their jobs which makes the customer service aspect of the restaurant very strong!Now to the food! Their was nothing I could fault about any of the meals! I tried foods that I would usually skip and still found myself absolutely enjoying it! To sum the food up in three words I would have to say Fresh, Delicious & Unique!Overall I cannot fault Peppina at all! Every aspect of the experience was top notch! Excellent work to all involved with the restaurant!It has to be a 5/5 stars from me!

What an experience! Did the set menu which saved me so much time from deciding what to eat. Loved everything that was served, the deep fried pizza is next level.All the staff here were so friendly. A great addition to the Hobart food scene.

Enjoyed lunch on a Friday. Shared an entree and two other dishes.Achovy brandade sourdough was delicious, as was the pickled beetroot salad. The quality of the ingredients shines through. We also had the pappardelle with goat ragu which should have been richer in my opinion.

The service, staff, food and wine were outstanding. Well done team Peppina and thanks for a lovely dinner and for rushing us out. We’re from Sydney where some restaurants really rush you.

Such a lovely place for dinner. All dishes were delicious, but I have to agree with others in the review as I found the gnocchi exceptional. (The gnocchi was on the softer side though )The pizza fritters were so soft and they paired really well with the meatballs.Loved the crunchy skin of the pork chop, and tiramisu was not too sweet. Panna cotta was nice too.The staff were excellent, and were very attentive and friendly.Overall would recommend this place!
