Liz is a fantastic teacher. When my daughter started lessons with Liz, a lot of things that had been learnt incorrectly had to be re-learnt. Liz made that fun and easy for her. I find the follow up homework emails really helpful to stay on track while practicing during the week. The lessons are fun, while my daughter works hard. And she has improved immensely this year.

Miss Liz is very patient and has her own unique & professional ways to engage my daughter with learning violin. she not only delivers good lessons, but also always is prompt on feedbacks and follow-ups after lessons. Thanks Liz, you have made learning violin so fun and meaningful!

Let me start by saying that I'm an adult (~25 years old) who've had zero experience with playing music or even studying music of any kind. Being a PhD student in science, I have a very busy somewhat stressful schedule, and learning the violin with Liz has been so much fun and a breath of fresh air.Liz is very enthusiastic about music and cares deeply about her students.After every lesson, she sends an email with a summary of what you did, a reminder of your homework and other bits on what to focus on. In the several times I hit a wall in my progress, I would send her a video/photo/message and her feedback was always on point and lead to (after some practice to follow it) immediate improvement. I can only say it has been incredibly rewarding.She helped me all the way from buying my violin (after almost buying an overpriced violin without even a maker's violin label!), to troubleshooting when things went wrong with my violin.We have so far had ten 1-hour long sessions (once a week). Of course, I plan to continue.

Liz is an awesome violin (fiddle) teacher! I was able to play songs that I never thought I could learn quite quickly with her very clear instruction. I was a bit hesitant about online lessons but I have actually learnt more online with Liz than previous face to face teachers. She is obviously very experienced at teaching online. Highly recommend you give her lessons a try, I was pleasantly surprised just how beneficial they have been.
