Busy on Easter weekend. Showers and flushing toilets available. Local Creek was clean and shallow enough for kids. Had some good kids play equipment too.

This is a great place to stay for large groups - the kitchen is well set up and the fire pit has space for everyone. There is also a covered barbecue area. The scenery is stunning.

A really nice place out of the way of crowds an noise. Plenty of space for camping. Nice river nearby that was dry when I arrived, but in full flow after some heavy rain while I was there. The rates are reasonable. Note there is no fuel in the town of Wee Jasper, you will have to drive some distance to the next town to get fuel. There are some interesting rock formations on the drive in.

Wasn't Wee Jasper station but Billy Grace Reserve at Wee Jasper. Excellent campground with great facilities right by awesome creek which is great for a swim. Only 1hr20mins from Canberra!

Nice place to stay if you are in a big group. Loved the heritage cottage, kitchen, BBQ she'd and fire pit. Pantry has all the necessities. Good supply of firewood for both inside and fire pit.

Micalong Creek is an excellent and affordable camping ground. The creek itself is wonderful to sit in and have a cold drink in and does offer deeper pools further up the creek to really swim with in. The toilets are cleaned nearly every day and do offer free hot showers. I highly recommend Micalong Creek and the other surrounding camp sites such as Billy Grace for a relaxing weekend or mid week stay. Fire bans usually apply up until the long weekend in April so bring a gas stove or you can use the electric bbq provided near the toilet and shower block.
