Great value for money. T-bone Tuesdays are the best! Nice, thick T-bone steaks served with chips/mash/veg/salad and a nice sauce for $15. Good variety of drinks available, and a covered outdoor area - great for watching the thunderstorms roll in.

The online reviews made us think the club would be good for dinner but it was opposite what we expected. The older North American lady who served us must not have any hospitality experience as she did not listen to our questions nor answers and lacked basic service skills, such as greeting us or giving us menus (or at least directing us to them). I asked her what the vegetarian special was and she talked about the fish, I said I don't eat fish and she kept saying 'oh but it tastes amazing'. She also talked at length about the kids menu, when I had told her there were no kids with us (and we were the only people in the place so it was pretty obvious). She was a nice person but needs some training in hospitality and to listen to guests' needs (which is included in hospitality training). Food was mediocre, the vegetarian meal was better than the supreme pizza my fellow diners ordered. Disappointing. There was no email account to send this feedback, so I'm sorry it is in a public forum, as she is obviously a nice person and is trying to be a good server. Please train her.

This place is a besser block dump in the middle of nowhere. But the good news is it has at stricter dress code than practically every place in Darwin. Couldn't tell you what the food is like as we couldn't get in due to one of our party wearing a sleeveless shirt. If they don't want visitors in there, then just put a sign saying so, don't invent a bunch of BS 'rules'. For any movie buffs you'll find it has Wolf Creek vibe.

Decided to stop to see if we could get lunch and well 1. They don't do lunch, which was fine with us so we decided to stay for a beer.2. Stayed for the beer and received the worse service in my life. Extremely rude. Would never recommend it to anyone!

One of few places in the Jabiru village where you can have a beer and very simple food. The staff is friendly but the locals are not talkative at all. In general, the place is very boring (wet season, in the afternoon), but it's an authentic outback pub. I actually liked it, it's an interesting experience. The beer is very cheap here. The cheapest option for drinking in Jabiru, as there is no bottle shop in the village and the restaurants in the hotels are very expensive.

I recently visited Jabiru and tried out the local cuisine. They were all very nice but did not match Jabiru Sports & Social Club which by far had the best meals in Jabiru. The staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere had a calm ambience about it, with a lovely view of the lake on the back veranda, a definite must see in Jabiru.

Good local pub and has a nice spot for a beer overlooking the lake. The beer battered fish and chips was fresh and tasty. The staff were really friendly.

Do NOT eat here. Plastic in the burger, stale bread, cold fish. If you are really hungry, only order chips- but they can't even cook them right! Found a 2x3inch piece of plastic in my husbands burger- no apology, no refund. Absolutely disgraceful!

We ate there the first night we were in Kakadu, as we wanted to eat somewhere other than at our hotel. It was one of the few options open and it was such a good experience, we went back the other two nights we stayed in Kakadu! The menu was agreeable to most palates with a variety of meals on offer. Each night there was a slight variation, so that over the course of the 3 nights there was Thai, Mexican, Indian, Italian and Australian on offer. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked well by a competent chef. The service was terrific. The house wine was a surprise each night and we enjoyed some good wine at extremely good value.I'd recommend this to anyone, oldies, youngies, families alike.

$15 Tbone on Tuesdays not bad in this market and great serving size. Beer also comparatively reasonably priced.Apparently this place just changed owners, but I don't know what it was like before to compare.Meat was overcooked compared to what we ordered but still juicy and the sauces were tasty.
