I've recently had the great privilege of meeting and spending a little bit of time with Tony. In my honest opinion, Tony is an absolute gentleman of the highest order. The reason for our meeting was a Kombi for sale, which very quickly turned into a conversation about family, life and happiness. Tony related some gems of wisdom to me about the importance of making memories with the ones we love dearest, and I discussed my two bonny boys and how proud I am to be their father. The Kombi for sale was a little bit beyond me financially now, but I'm not very far from reaching my goal of buying my dream car. To Tony's great credit, he offered his support, wisdom and knowledge when I finally do buy my dream Kombi. A kinder man I am yet to meet. Thanks again for the great chat Tony. I was in the market for a automatic 1976 model. I contacted Tony mid June and met with him, he is very passionate about his vehicles. His knowledge and work around on how to maintain the vehicle was very informative. I decided not to go ahead with the purchase with a little bit of regret. But I was actually looking for one that had already been restored without any hidden costs plus I wanted to do a road trip virtually straight away. Being a solo driver I needed a vehicle where I had guarantee with performance of motor I'm not very mechanical I highly recommend Tony we spent many of time talking on the phone and exchanging emails etc.

My husband and I decided we wanted to buy a Kombi but had no experience or understanding of what to look for in a van. I contacted Tony via email to make an appointment to view some of his vehicles. We were travelling from Perth to Melbourne so Tony agreed to meet with us on the weekend. He spent over 3 hours educating us on all things Kombi. His passion for old VW’s is contagious. We ended up purchasing a vehicle from him and are eagerly awaiting for it to be transported to Perth to register the vehicle here. Even though it’s currently unregistered Tony has provided us with confidence that getting it registered will be easy and he will work with us to get it up and running in Perth. I would highly recommend Tony if your considering purchasing and old Kombi.

Tony from Volksworld is an absolute legend I cannot speak more highly of him. He goes above and beyond to educate and help others. He is so passionate and has always assisted me with any issue or questions I have no matter how big or small. He is truly one of a kind the best VW mechanic I have come across!!

Just occasionally you'll stumble on someone who restores your faith in human nature.. Despite living in Adelaide, nowhere near Tony in Melbourne, he was only too happy to share his wealth of knowledge on VW beetles with me.He gave me a lot of invaluable advice on what to look for with an old beetle to ensure I wouldn't buy a lemon.I was very surprised that someone would be so generous with their time and advice,despite the fact he'd never do business with me as I live in a different state.Tony is a true old school " gentleman who completely demonstrates integrity and kindness

I bought my vw beetle in 1981. I had just moved to the big smoke from Gippsland and needed a reliable car that would get me to town and back each week. The Vw was just such a car and I drove it everywhere for the next 20 years until our 3rd child was born and it was getting too cramped! Then it became my parents in laws car whenever they came out each year from the Uk to see us. They loved it and my father in law kept it in good nick . But the years passed and their visits became fewer as age crept in. The old beetle spent most of its life then for the last 10 years in our shed.When we finally decided to restore it we knew it would take quite a bit of work. I rang Volksworld and talked to Tony the owner who said he could help as long as we were patient as these restorations take time if you are going to do them right. That was September 2019. Well last month we were reunited. The car looks brilliant and it’s a joy to drive it once again. Tony worked a miracle and was the easiest fellow to deal with. So knowledgeable and clear with how he was proceeding. What he said he did.The car was made in 1971, I bought it in 1981 and in 2021 it has a new life 50years onThanks to Tony and his staff we really appreciate all the efforts you made.
