Telstra Hervey Bay

Slowest customer service I've ever seen.Not sure who works out the management for it but they must be losing so much business.Staff must be frustrated.Josh was very knowledgeable and helpful though.

Rude staff, clearly haven’t received much customer service trainingAlso the two times I’ve gone here the lines were a minimum 30 minute wait(they don’t offer to take your number and call you when they’re ready for you, instead they make keep their customers standing outside of the store obstructing the walkway for the rest of the centre)

Store closed at 3pm...we were waiting from 2.35pm outside as the gates were shut and the was a sign saying wait till your served. A few of the staff had seen me and a few other customers lining up. It came to 2.50pm and a staff member came outside and said they were short staff and were closing soon so they couldn't serve any of us. I asked him if they knew they weren't going to let anyone else in and saw us lining up at 2.35pm then why didn't they let us know straight away instead of waiting 15 minutes and the staff said to me that I should have known as the store had gates closed. I told him its covid times some stores have gates shut until other customer leave before letting more in and plus your staff had seen us lining up and should have told us straight away of their intentions to not serve us.

I got my new phone from Telstra a few weeks ago, Ron Base is the best Telstra employee. He’s very accommodating and very patience with the customers no matter what issue or problem is. He always explained things and giving me the right options specially for the plan that suites to my needs. Thank you so much.

When I finally got to see someone the experience was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and customer service oriented.Unfortunately I could see all those who also wanted to see a consultant.It is the same experience I see at all Telstra shops.Great people, but not enough.I know people who have left Telstra for this reason.

Having to wait 3 or 4 hours for a walk in appointment is a joke.Our community is largely founded on older people who may not know how to book an appointment online and they shouldn't have to! So many people need to talk to someone face to face when it comes to technology and you're taking that away from them. DO BETTER TELSTRA and make these changes based upon valid demographics.

The wait time is ridiculous, and service from the concierge is not good at all. We had to check the status of our cancelled account and was told an hour to wait, and yes, that was fine we had coffee and window shopped and asked x 2 where we were in the queue and the concierge was a rude piece of work when I asked after 2hours and 15minutes of waiting. Never again, we will cancel all our services with Telstra. And I would not recommend Hervey Bay outlet.

Me and my partner went in to cancel an internet plan, Fraser looked after us and was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable.The other guy we dealt with before hand Dylan was terrible though and shouldn't be in a customer service role, out right lied to us and did everything possible to be difficult.Leaving five star review though due to the excellent service from Fraser.
