Alwyns Photo School

Great day. Great weather. Great instructors. Thank you Alwyn and Michael for the Melbourne Zoo Day and for answering whatever I asked in a patient manner. I thought a compact camera might be a problem, but no! I hope to do another course/day sometime. Brenda

I did Alwyn’s Flower photography class in the Fitzroy gardens today. I learnt a heap of useful things and the teacher to student ratio was excellent. I will definitely be going back to do more of Alwyn’s workshops.

This is the second class I have done with Alwyn. I learnt a lot in a very shor period of time and I can't wait to put it all into practise. What I loved is he speaks to everyone at thier own pace, and it was easy to keep up with each task. Alwyn's communication both during the class, before and after was excetptional and the notes after the class have been so helpful. I would highly reccomend him for any photoraphy or editing courses.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Alwyn does not just stop with technicalities, he gives you plenty of tips and tricks too. I will definitely book to learn more in future. Highly recommend his workshops/classes.

My partner and I had a digital camera for our small construction business and wanted a workshop on how to use it. Alwyn came to one of our completed job sites and ran a private workshop tailored exactly for our needs and experience. Alwyn answered all of our questions and went at a pace that suited us. He was friendly and personable. Alwyn even sent us notes and links to his tutorial videos for further support. I would 100% recommend Alwyn's photo school for anyone who owns a 'fancy camera' and isn't quite sure how to work it.

After attending Alwyn's informative portrait and flash speed light photography workshops on the weekend I learnt new tips and tricks while polishing my existing knowledge! If you're looking to expand your photography skills, take a workshop with Alwyn! His enthusiasm and expertise make his classes both entertaining AND informative. Already what I have learnt has come into practical application; regardless of experience level, everyone can benefit from what he has to offer!

I have just completed my third class with Alwyn, and I will do more. He is an excellent teacher: patient, knowledgeable, considerate and eager to help. No-one gets left behind. He has rekindled my enthusiasm for photography. I could not recommend him, and his school, more highly.

Super helpful workshop - the beginners class is a great way to get to know your camera to get the best out of it. Alywn is a terrific teacher - deeply experienced and interesting and with a teaching focus on simplicity and fun. Small class sizes means lots of time for your specific questions. I've done a few of his workshops as well and this is consistent with his approach to all his classes. Highly recommended.
