SMB Australia Car Transport

BEWARE. This rubbish carrier backed our car off their trailer causing structural damage. They tried to hide it , then claimed they wouldn’t cover the repair as their insurance doesn’t cover “undercarriage”Little things like the car having a flat battery, cigarette butt on the floor (we dont smoke) and being absolutely filthy. Pay the bit extra and go elsewhere

Prepare to have your items stolen out of your car. The amount of reviews saying this indicates it’s really just a scheme to steal from customers. If you’re lucky enough to not have anything stolen be aware your car will rock up whoever they feel like it and not when they say it will.

Absolutely terrible service. Not only was my car over 10 days late and full of rubbish and unfinished drinks, they won’t take responsibility for stealing items that were in the car at the time. They don’t give you time or clarify the fine print and then rob you of hundreds of dollars worth of belongings! It’s just not worth it! I’d go with another service if I had the opportunity.

Look elsewhere as our car has not arrived for more than the advertised business days. No advice as to when our car was transported.The only saving grace would be if our car arrives as is when it was dropped off.

GO elsewhere! Car arrived late and damaged! After sales service is non existent! They wont call you back. In their own photos its clear to see the damage has occurred in their position, but I've been left to claim with my own insurance and foot the bill.

If you are ever thinking of using SMB transport, save your money and go else where. Car has sat in their yard for almost 3 weeks, 0 communication from staff when pushing dates back. If it wasn’t for the tracking link provided I wouldn’t have any clue as too when the car is meant to be loaded next. Staff do not communicate and advised dates been moved out unless YOU contact them. Customer service is atrocious. Car was booked 2 weeks prior to drop off. With now a total of 6 weeks and car still has not arrived.

Delivered my car within 2 days from Sydney-Adelaide, no damages to my car or lost items.

Used SMB to transport my one and only work vehicle interstate . Dates were promised (that’s why I used them) the vehicle is over 2 weeks late. Don’t know why you wouldn’t just say “it’s going to take over a month “ in the beginning. Cost me huge money and all they care about is being paid in full before releasing your vehicle. Never again.

Vehicle arrived damaged and their customer representative Cherish ignores my emails and wont call back. Such terrible service. They themselves have their own photos of damage but deny everything. STAY AWAY!

Absolute appalling service. I got my car sent to me and it arrived with the bonnet protector off the car and stored inside (parts missing btw). Left scratches all over the hood, headlights and bumper.Front bumper was half falling off with missing screws and the left wheel was scuffed and so were the tires all around. I told the person I spoke to about it not to mention they were rude and unprofessional, even left another customer waiting for no reason when it was clear as day to see they needed service.The guy told me to contact Sydney support department. Given the service I was certain they would refuse to take responsibility in which they did in fact refuse, hearing back from them and mentioning all these parts of their policy when clearly they are just trying to escape any form of responsibility. It does not align with Australia's consumers policy.Having photo evidence of how it looked just before it was in their hands it's clear that they are at fault.Honestly so fed up with these type of incompetent workers that I don't even want to dispute it any further, please to anyone seeing this don't waste your time with this company. Absolute disgrace.
