The Lane Vineyard

Ordered a picnic basket, bottle of Pinot Noir, sitting on a rug with pillows, looking out over vibes, enjoying tasty nibbles of pickled veg, pumpkin dip (yum!), olives with almonds, salad, 2 cheeses, bread… so many nice things. Followed by chocolate brownies with strawberry. A perfect day and WILL come again. A great example of Aussie life to show off to visiting friends.

As part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of South Australia, I ventured out to Adelaide Hills and was blessed with the views and the great wines our host was Eva who was very great in service.

We were there on a Wednesday to do the gathering experience & lunch after. The gathering experience was 5 different wine with 5 canapés pairing. Loved it! The staff was very tentative. He explained the wine & the accompanying food. Love the Lees butter. Wish they sell it to take home. At this point, we were so full but still went over to the restaurant for lunch. Thank goodness they have an a la cart menu. We ordered the oyster & marinated olive as our entree & the kingfish & ricotta mushroom dumplings. It was perfect for our already full belly. If you are in the Adelaide Hills area, if all the vineyards in the area, this one you have to visit. Views of the vineyard, just beautiful. Food & wine delicious. Staff, amazing. We had the most divine lunch experience here on Sunday, where each dish really just hit the mark to a superior level of polish. Our table had a few special food requests/requirements and all was handled really well by the kitchen/team. It was all so good. Our afternoon concluded outside with a coffee pre-sunset. Top notch food, staff/service and location. Very impressive and looking forward to returning, super delicious and really enjoyed the wine, too! A great place to bring international/out of state visitors, just presents SA so well, cheers.

Beautiful vineyard and great tasting experience. We did the wine flight with food, which was focused on experiencing the taste of the wine with and without food. The wines were delicious and food was great. Catered for a guest that was gluten free and dairy free also.

Went to The Lane today for the Provenance menu with wine pairing with my partner as we had been gifted a voucher. Such an incredible experience with amazing food and they were so accommodating to me being a vegetarian, the service was also 10/10. Thanks again to everyone!

Beautiful vineyard! Exceptional tasting room experience- superb chardonnay and shiraz tasting with friendly and professional wine presentations. We had lunch of the year -the Chef's table is worth Michellin star.Hope we will back soon.

We have done many many wine tastings & cellar doors in all regions of Europe and Australia. Not only this is up there with the best of them in many ways it’s surpasses them all - a vineyard with sommeliers who have studied abroad and are so knowledgeable about wine it’s a joy to taste from them. Beautiful unpretentious very smart setting in the Adeliade Hills with a 360 degree view and helicopter pad for certain clients. they had a fabulous menu beyond the usual bland cheese platter - divine Terrines & pate of Masterchef quality accompanied our tasting.Dan looked after us so well and did some fabulous pairings above and beyond the tasting list, to help us understand the complexities of certain wines and the Lanes well established vineyards. I finally understood why I don’t like Sauvignon Blanc (too much of a green pepper taste!)!All round a superb experience - Dan recommended a similarly great cellar door to try in South Adelaide. Had a wonderful vegan experience here. The service is excellent and wine delicious. The food was amazing. Imaginative, plentiful, and importantly yummy. Such a nice atmosphere, too.

Our third visit over 3 years. The Gather experience just gets better each time. Lovely helpful staff who are very knowledgeable. Great snacks that matched well with the winners. Then lunch. Relaxing atmosphere, well presented and prepared food. A lovely relaxing experience in a beautiful setting.
