Very professional, courteous and cost effective service for installation of cooktop and oven. Service over and above expectations, rarely found these days.

I had 15 year old gas hob that needed conversion from NG to LPG. all other businesses said i had no chance of finding the parts for an older model and to just buy a new gas hob, however great lakes appliances found the part numbers i needed and had them ready to pick up in 3 days. excellent can-do attitude. and saved me a fortune by not having to replace a functional stove top. happy customer.

Their customer service is second to none. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We were extremely pressed for time, to have our new, replacement dishwasher installed before we went away and they understood and made it happen. We are very impressed and highly recommend them for all your appliance repairs and/or installations.

A service technician attended my residence for a warranty service call on my oven. After I explained my continual problem with the oven and that it also had stopped heating completely, he informed me the element needed replacement then they would check for other faults. This call out was the 6 September. I informed him I needed it repaired before 23 September as we have a wedding here that day and required the oven for our caterers to use. He said that would work something out. I received a call from them 15 September telling me they would come on the 23 September. I tried to reason with them and explained once Again about the wedding and asked for them to come earlier. I live in Smiths Lake and they explained that there was no way they could change their service schedule to come here any other time especially when it is a short week because of public holiday. No amount of pleading and saying the wedding guests would not have food could change her mind. Disgraceful service and no compassion

Not off to a good start as my partner was told he'd receive a phone call this afternoon at 4:30pm for confirmation of time for dishwasher installation on Monday. No call and office closes at 4pm. Not good to be lied to.

Customer service is zero,enquired today if part ordered for fridge repair had arrived and quote to instal.Aggressive verbal response and refusal to quote price indicating we had been contacted by phone weeks earlier.Lady who answered then stated she is cancelling part on order! Nothing short of disgraceful behaviour,do yourselves a favour and stay away from this business

Our Dyson vacuum required repair and we dropped it off and met the serviceman who was friendly. GLA provided a quote and we asked them to proceed. The communication from GLA thereafter was hopeless. We rang several times to find out what was happening and never received a satisfactory answer . 10 WEEKS LATER WE PICKED UP OUR REPAIRED VACUUM CLEANER. Never again.

Very unprofessional and aggressive management. She could not decide if they were a service agent for the brand or not. Could not give any time frame for repairs. Blamed everyone but themselves. After a month I had to pick up my machine un- repaired to take it elsewhere. Waste of time.
