Great teachers, good curriculum. More affordable than other tutors (per hour). The principal scares me but he teaches well.

Jimmy is a great teacher who has immensely helped me in maths. He goes above and beyond with every one of his students and provides great exam techniques . He also gives us an abundant of resources and past papers to assist us with school assessments. Not only that he gives us extra lessons without charge to ensure we cover enough before our assessments. Would highly recommend!

Jimmy is an excellent tutor who provides his students with the necessary motivation, resources and guidance a student needs to succeed in HSC mathematics. He is a genuine person who is always looking out for his students best interests by pushing them to do their best. His tutoring has produced impressive results in countless students; as one of his students I can say that he has helped me enormously with my confidence in school work and exams where I had previously struggled. His teaching style makes it easy to break down difficult concepts and allows students to really engage in some challenging content. Jimmy is the best and first maths tutor teacher I've had so far and I've honestly have learnt so much from his teaching. He only wants the best for all his students and constantly motivates us to do our best for our own benefit. Jimmy, the head maths tutor is an incredible teacher helping me greatly through extension maths. He puts a lot of effort into his lessons going above and beyond for his students and provided a large variety of resources to help us learn to the best of our ability. As a past student over 13 years ago who started with Jimmy teaching me at his garage when I was in year 9 or so, I can easily say that Jimmy is the person who has motivated me to become a secondary mathematics teacher today and can't thank him enough for his efforts. After seeing him again today for the first time in a while, it really made be feel lucky and proud to have been his student ages ago. With this understanding of the coaching industry, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Jimmy, the head tutor, is one of the greatest teachers I've been taught by. Focus college had really helped me with maths! I remember not really liking maths in year 7 and 8 because I was pretty bad at it and wouldn't be bothered to study for it. However, when my parents forced me to go Focus and I got Jimmy as my maths tutor, the way he taught and pushed his students to do their maths motivated me to work harder and my grades for maths really improved! Jimmy puts a lot of effort into planning each lesson and has a way of explaining things that makes them simpler to understand. He also makes sure to check in on his students well-being especially during stressful periods in school. A really great tutor overall!
