Aqua Rentals

I have been a tenant through Aqua Rentals for the past 2 and a half yrs, they have been great to deal with and so helpful,Such a great bunch of people i would recommend them to anyone.

If I found my dream rental on realestate.com and it was being leased by Aqua Rentals I’d just forget it existed. I had an awful experience with their real estate agents. To give a good example of their character, I had a woman hang up on me when I asked her to put a summary of what she was telling me on the phone in writing when I was moving out. I explained to her I have some problems processing information (I’ve just been diagnosed with ADD). I was breaking my lease so it was a bit complicated (they also took five weeks to get a new tenant in, during a rental shortage!). When I called back and asked what happened, the woman’s colleague told me they’d hung up on me. At one point the roof was leaking and they took weeks to have it fixed, they blamed the rainy weather but there were plenty of sunny days. What got me was they sent me a lease renewal with a rent increase when the roof was still leaking and my office was set up in the lounge room. No compassion whatsoever.

We have now concluded our home rental experience using Aqua Rentals as the Letting agent. Their team were always available and returned calls and acted promptly whenever called upon. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Aqua rentals from a tenants point of view.Our tenancy went smoothly for 16 months until the point at which we requested to break the lease due to having purchased our own property.The property was then listed as ‘available’ from 12 days after our desired move out date, resulting in a significant extra rental payment. This was later revised to 9 days which we still believe to be an unjust length of time. Extra payments totalling $588 were added to our account in view of this. The explanation given by Aqua CEO was that it must have been an ‘administration error’ and ‘these things happen sometimes’. A mistake on their part cost us significantly.I have leased property for the past 15 years and have never once had a poor experience. I have never missed a rent payment nor had any of my deposit deducted for any reason. I am also a landlord and if I knew that my tenants were treated this way, I would enlist an alternative agent to manage the property.In spite of paying for a professional clean at the end of our tenancy, the final check out done by Aqua still identified minuscule imperfections, which were not detailed on the original check in. For example, there were fewer weeds in the garden than when we commenced the tenancy, however Aqua still insisted that these were removed before returning our deposit.This whole experience was bitterly disappointing and soured what had been a lovely home for my young family.My wife was in tears after speaking with the staff at Aqua. They were blunt, outright rude and unapologetic for their errors in re-advertising the property.I do not seek to defame Aqua, but future tenants must be forewarned of the style by which Aqua conducts their end of tenancy checkouts.

I’ve been a tenant through Aqua Rentals for 2.5 years and I have never had service like this before. The entire team is a pleasure to talk with and they are always quick to respond to emails and action any requests. 10/10!

We are tenants with Aqua Rentals and had a plumbing leak late on a Saturday afternoon. They had a plumber to us and the issue fixed within an hour or so. Great service. Thanks to all involved.

Aqua Rentals have been great to deal with, very professional, I would highly recommend them.

Harcourts Aqua have managed a property of mine for 4+ years and would definitely recommend them. Thorough inspections, very responsive to emails and helpful with any issues. I've had excellent tenants selected by them and when they have unfortunately moved on they have been quickly replaced.

I’m a new comer as a landlord to Aqua Rentals. I’m very happy with the service I have been given. The guys are really helpful and do their best to meet your needs. Keep up the good work Aqua Rentals.

The Agents I dealt with are quite rude and over the top with Inspections.. wanting to re inspect over tiny issues but when you need something fixed that isn't considered an emergency to them they drag there feet and take there time... Do not recommend from a Tennant point of View. Building has design faults and they expect you to maintain it. Fix them and it won't happen .. I'd give 0 stars if I could
