A Great shop..terrific staff..excellent service

The first impression is staff don't want to be there. Met by an older lady with glasses on this visit who seemed like I was doing her a disfavour by being there. I had received a verbal quote a month earlier offering $550 only to be low balled on this visit, $230.... over this time the price for gold had gone up so I was bemused why the price had gone down as you claim the payment is based on weight. Seems like there is underhanded business going on here taking advantage of people in a very tough economic climate.Nb. If you want people to really think you care about the customer experience probably best not to cut and paste the same template" response to customers that aren't happy."

Amazing Staff!!! I have been looking for a coin from my birth year for months. The two lovely girls, Bec and Ali, took the time to help me locate the most perfect coin. They both worked extremely hard to ensure it was just what I wanted. They ensured that I was happy with my experience and what I was purchasing. When I saw this weeks Mitcham Managers special on Instagram I fell in love with it, it was a stunning Garnet ring at an amazing price. I went into the store and found both staff, Ali and Rebecca to be extremely helpful and pleasant and the ring was even prettier in person. I congratulated Ali on a great choice of Managers Special this week and left the store happily with the ring. Thank you both for your great service

Terrible customer service. I bought a chain took it home tried on with the ring I was going to wear with it. Took it straight back and was told I couldn’t return it for a refund. How sneaky of the old bats. They didn’t mention this when I purchased it. Very deceiving and misleading. Don’t buy from this store. Really are awful people at Mitcham branch. They also said you can’t get a refund from any other Jewelers and I found nearly every store gives 30 day money back guarantee. What liers and scam artists in this store

I purchased an engagement ring for my wife two years ago and my wife is still with me which means that the ring I purchased was of superb quality & and was exactly what I asked for.I can also say that the manager Alicia was very helpful and made purchasing an engagement ring really easy. I don’t normally write reviews but I would definitely recommend Adelaide Exchange Mitcham for anyone looking for jewellery!

Took my engagement ring in to be resized lovely customer service both at drop off and pick up turn around time was as predicted (1 day earlier) I thought $45 was a great price.

Good, I’m glad you’ve sent it to your solicitors. It’s NOT libel if it’s true so good luck with that.Extremely dodgy practices with Coin releases from the Royal Australian Mint! I know it’s just a “Recommended Retail Price” (RRP) but they are the only RAM (Royal Australian Mint) dealers who charge more on release day! I can understand charging more months later but on release days is very cheeky! Plus they always say they “haven’t got our stock yet” on release day so they can justify the price hike the following day! They must be the only dealers to never get the stock on time! Even though I know the courier who delivers your RAM stock and it’s delivered days earlier and all your stock for every store is delivered to the Mitcham store and then sent out to Glenelg, City & TTP. The ladies are extremely rude and seem like they don’t want to be there! They aren’t allowed to give out their names? Come on! What’s that telling you. I know a lot of people in the coin community are pushing for AEJ to have their relationship with the RAM canceled so another more reputable store can take their allocation of coins.

Manager lied and said they didnt have info for a coin until 12, then I called again and she said 1pm, then got there early and she said 12. Waited an hour and a half for a coinset and she then told me there were none left. Sellers doing dodgy deals in the phone for higher prices whilst making me wait in a queue for hours! Avoid Adelaide Exchange franchise, they are very dodgy!!!
