I've been a long term customer of Rex Stafford Steering & I'd like to relate my experiences there. About 5 yrs ago I changed rims with some good condition 2nd hand rims. Ritchie swapped over tyres & did a wheel alignment & balance. He told me that one of the rims was very slightly warped & may cause a vibration. After some long trips & noticing a vibration, I swapped out the rim Ritchie had indicated & the vibration stopped. 12 months ago I got a screw puncture in one of my new tyres. The screw was at an angle which is more difficult to repair because it's hard to follow the angled screw hole with the plug material compared to a straight through puncture. But Ritchie was able to plug it. He saved me having to fork out for a new tyre. More recently I had noticed a vibration again & put in for a wheel alignment & balance. On picking up my car, Ritchie told me that both rear shocks were leaking oil. After driving off I could still feel the vibration. I put some new rear shocks in and the vibration stopped. My car feels smooth and comfortable to drive again. It would have been very difficult for me to identify the causes of the vibrations by myself & I'd definitely be annoyed if I had to put up with it. The feedback Ritchie has given me after his wheel alignments has helped me to avoid annoying vibrations and allowed me to drive an older car that drives on the road steady and smooth.
